There were many wonderful waterfalls to experience, the 7 sisters were lovely. Beware, if it's a very hot summer with not a lot of rainfall, not all of the sisters can be seen.

A series of waterfalls close together but didn’t really require a second look when we passed by in the cruise ship.
We were lucky enough to see the falls on a sunny day. Our Captain, as they do, gave us a long slow look at both the Seven Sisters and their Suitors opposite, via a 360 spin. Rather memorable, to say the least.
Luckily we didn’t do the long kayak trip to the falls as the water level was low and the falls weren’t really that great. We rented a motorboat and cruised around the fjord and stopped by the seven sisters. Kayaking was fun but wasn’t necessary to the falls!
We saw this beautiful waterfall as we were taking a boat tour in Geiranger fjord. You can listen to a recording about everything we could see on both sides of the fjord. You must take the tour if visiting Geiranger. It is worth it!
The fiord is fantastic to see. The seven sisters, to a Scot, are not unusual but their sheer height makes them spectacular.
Geranger town
At first glance there’s not a lot here but you’ll be surprised. Nice pub, souvenir shop and a supermarket... but.... look up the hill and there’s a beautiful old church which is well worth a visit. Walk up the main road, watch the traffic on the tight bends, and also you need to go up farther than you might think before turning left to get to the church with its fantastic views. From here you can go down a steep gravel path back in to town or continue up the main road to the Fiord Centre. Personally I don’t think it worth the 120Kn admission fee but others might. There is a network of paths and steps, all in good order, that follow the river with its spectacular waterfalls and rapids back down into town. Look for the old cast iron pipes that feed the two very old electricity generator stations which used to put the water power to good use. There are ferry trips and rib trips to be had, though I didn’t take them.
