We were staying nearby at the Villa Il Poggio, also in Sinalunga when the owner referred us to this restaurant telling us it was excellent for pasta and meat dishes. We went with another couple staying at the b&b that had already gone the night before as well. We were certainly not disappointed. This was a quintessential small town Tuscan restaurant filled with locals and reservations (made by the b&b owner on our behalf) were essential.
We met many members of the family run restaurant including Nonna who brought us a free appetizer to try out. We also tried out a couple more starters and some pasta as entrees. All of it was delicious. We also had some dessert and then they dropped the bottle of home made limoncello on our table so we can server ourselves as much as we'd like which I've never had done before at any restaurant. On the way out we sat on their patio with one of the family members, where they poured us a drink and we chatted for a little while. Amazing little place with a great atmosphere and one of our top restaurant experiences of our 2 week trip in Italy.
