Amazing thermal baths with a panoramic view of the glorious Tuscan landscape -- olive groves and rose bushes and a clear blue sky.

I would like to thank the staff at the Fonteverde SPA resort for a very good service and a very relaxing experience!

Me and my colleagues had a very pleasant stay filled with relaxation and only pleasant memories.

The experiences with water were incredible as well as the saunas, food and other treatments which were available to us during our stay were perfect and amazing !.
I hope that in the nearest future I will have a possibility of re-going to this amazing place with stunning views!

Once you arrive in this paradise you feel blessed by the world, this is a stunning property, in one of the top location in Tuscany, with one of the best luxury wellness centre we have ever seen. We spent 4 nights and we were totally impressed by the scenery, the natural beauty of the place and by the total relax you can find once you are projected in this reality. The staff and the sevice is outstanding, I can definitely recommend this place if you are looking for the real Tuscany with a mix of a treat for your self in the SPA, good food and wine ant total pure relax.

Would certainly recommend to spend a few days at the spa of Fonteverde. The level of the treatments and products used is very high and located in the wonderful Tuscany hillside of Val d'Orcia. Very relaxing experience of total pampering.
The downsides: yes, it is really pricey and if the prices can be justified for the spa, they are unconceivable for the hotel. Rooms are quite comfy, not bad, but nothing more than that and they are charged as they were junior suites in Mayfair (despite being...in an enchanting middle of nowhere). Service level definitely needs to be improved, as well as the interaction between the spa and the hotel reception (we had booked treatments until after check out on departure day, because the spa reception claimed that getting a late check out from the hotel would have not been a problem. It came out that the hotel reception didn t know anything and we had to negotiate for hours to get an extension until 2 pm ...while paying their spa for treatments until that time!!!).
A last note: go for it if you want to spend a relaxing break with your beloved dogs! The hotel is very dog friendly, with rooms specifically dedicated to dog owners, à la carte dog food from the restaurant, dog trails in the surrounding park and even a dog thermal pool! Our two doggies were really happy at Fonteverde!

The location is just fantastic! Rooms and food excellent and the spa really good. Unfortunately over the time (I've been here 5 or 6 times in the last few years) service has got worse and worse. at the same time prices got more and more expensive

We spent 3 nights here Before Christmas - the first day was good if not great but on day 2 the big brother team joined us for some shooting - they were loud and crass both in the spa and in the restaurant at dinner - goodbye relaxing break - and goodbye attentive service as the staff were too distracted to care about their other guests. What a disappointment and at what price! The location is great and the hotel looks nice. Reception was good. Regarding the SPA I found the quality was good although not great - be very careful with agreeing to add 'recommended treatments' to your package as they have a canning way of piling up treatments and while you may think you have just booked a wrap or something in fact you end up with a wrap and an added post wrap massage without realising this. The gym was ok but not great in terms of modern cardio equipment. The relaxing areas are not very warm or cosy. The restaurant has good food but the maitre is a tad too 'friendly'. If you pay for the buffet lunch be very careful if they offer to prepare anything else for you - again they seem to have a way of adding up to your bill without you noticing this. The check out was poor and when we pointed out that we had been unable to relax due to the big brother mayhem we were promised a call of apologies by the director that never came. This really sums it up. This is a place were guests are just paying fools. Avoid. Try Tombolo a bit further up if you need a few days in a beautiful spa hotel by the sea.

The Terme/Spa is OK but overrated. Too expensive for what you get. You are definitely number there. It seems like a mass production spa. Too many people going around for a relaxing environment. The massages were weak and the saunas were almost cold. The locker rooms were outdated. The snack bar was OK but in the edge of weak. We liked the Bioaquam circuit and the Thalaquam. These were worth doing it.
