Stayed for a week at this lovely hotel. Wish to thank all the Savoca family (especially Giuseppe) as he was always very helpful in giving us information when asked. Food / Rooms and service were excellent. Guys at restaurant were also fantastic. Location of hotel is not far from Giardini Naxos and Taormina, however we recommend to either hire a car or go by own car as it would be much easier to travel around.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel reception staff friendly and knowledgeable and the rooms are clean and nicely furnished.

We ate dinner most nights in the hotel restaurant - good value and tasty pizza, pasta and salad.

Continental breakfast was ok, a bit on the basic side and the breakfast staff could be a bit abrupt. On the first day they seemed short of food but it was better the rest of the week.

The highlight of this hotel, for me, was the relaxing and stylish rooftop pool area. Blissfully quiet and beautiful views across the mountains.

Location is great if you want to be away from crowded tourist towns, but in easy driving distance of Taormina, etna, alcantara valley etc. There's plenty of things to do and see in the area within 20 mins-60 mins drive.

We visited this hotel on the 17July/2012. We stayed there for four nights (myself,my wife and our son). Hotel is very basic but very clean and vell look after.Brekfast is simple but I do not think you need something more.Nice swimming poll on the roof. Hotel is in small village so I personally think car I essential(hotel has monitored car park free of charge,so that is great). We rent the car for all stay so I can not share any information about buses etc. If you planing to visit Etna,Catania ,Taormina this is great location.!15 minutes drive to sandy beach ,20 minutes to Taormina and 30min drive to Etna. You can get nice and not expensive pasta for lunch or pizza for dinner at the hotel! We loved this part of Sicily and definitely would go back to this family run hotel.

I have been lucky enough to have stayed in this hotel many times whilst leading for ramblers holidays. I have always found the food to be excelent!! the service outstanding and the Savoca family most helpful.
Dinner is a good meal with a great selection of vegetables and well varied, breakfast is the standard buffet, but you can request more if you think you need it!

The rooms are comfortable and clean, the swimming pool has good views, and if asked Guiseppe will open the bar on the pool deck! great spot for pre dinner drinks!
The transport provided by the hotel is a good value service, one has to consider that there are no other transport links apart from the local bus service. Salvatore will try to help with any transport requests over and above booked tours and excursions. this is still cheaper than any of the excursions offered from Taormina.

I would recommend this hotel to all, it may be out of the main tourist route, but that makes it even better! in a small village with great local interest and easy to reach Etna or Taormina!

The room was really nice and clean, with A/C. Even though it was on the street side, there was no noise. I loved the location, it was exactly what I was expecting for. Very good starting point for all sort of road trips. But if you are interested in the night life, you shouldn't come here.

On the other hand, the breakfast was mediocre. One type of ham, salami and cheese, tomatoes, bread, toast + some jams and cereals. Awful coffee. And it was annoying to hear the staff gossiping with some guests about other guests of the hotel.

The rooftop pool was nice, but there was little space out there and everything seemed crowded.
