We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Palermo airport. We had a 6:45 a.m. departure to Rome and needed something a very short distance to the airport to get there. The hotel delivered on that need as it's about a 10 minute drive to the airport.

However, the hotel didn't deliver on anything else in our opinion. The room must have been decorated in the 1970's. The wallpaper (tangerine in color) was peeling and looked atrocious. The curtains were so old that they had holes in them from age. The bed was hard as a rock with tiny ancient pillows. The furnishings were in old formica. The bathroom was ok. At least it was clean.

The absolutely worse part was that the air conditioning was not effective in our room whatsoever. The air conditioning in the lobby was fine, but I could not sleep because the room felt like a sauna bath. It must have been 90 degrees Fahrenheit in that room without exaggeration. We noticed in Sicily especially that some of the hotels turn the air off at night to save money. The air in this room was never on. We contacted the front desk about it, they sent a technician and he said that everything was fine. Well, it wasn't and I would never stay in this place gain.

Room Tip: Don't travel there in the summer when air conditioning is needed.

The hotel is nearby to airport which was a plus for us, and they had free parking. Staff could not speak English but certainly you dont have to speak the same language to look up and say "Buon Giorno" when you leave and enter the hotel each day. No guest internet, but had WiFi. Hotel was super clean and air was good. Breakfast was also good, but terrible coffee. Seaside location was also a plus and closeness to stores in the town piazza. What a great place at night!!! Lots of people and restaurants. Small town folks. Not much to do but the beach or drive to Erice, which is a must. Palermo nearby but we just drove through.

Picked hotel because it was close to the Palermo airport, has shuttle service, was recommended and the web site made it look alright. The weather was very hot and the reception area was cool with a/c...so were the rooms but not so well....never seemed to get cool. The reception was modern, the rooms were outdated. The hotel was overpriced for what it offered. The breakfast was very good, The staff was helpful, the location was very close to the airport, really the only reason to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the beach, noisy

The hotel fit the bill for what we needed: a decent place to stay, near the water, near the Palermo airport. Also free covered parking. The hotel has a great lobby, great breakfast and not a bad terrace. The rooms need freshening and small touches are not existent (tiny TV, frayed towels and 2 of the four bits of art on the walls were exact duplicates!). But we did have a water view and late at night you can hear the waves lapping gently, which is pretty cool.

The town is pleasant enough with a few good restaurants, though there were a lot of beggars on the plaza - not a touristy spot and very "local." The public beach right nearby was sadly littered with trash and the multitude of beach-goers didn't seem to mind...not a fault of the hotel, but still..

nice hotel on the Beach of macagiari in Terasini, close to shop s and restaurants (a copule of minutes by walk)
helpful staff and free wi-fi!
excellent sicilian dishes (caponata and cannoli...don't miss it!)
Wonderful sunset from the seafront (ask for a room with balcony).
We really had a great time......

This place almost ended my trip in tears, we did a 4 day trip and were rushing so we booked this hotel for the convenience of being close to the airport. We specifically requested a double bed and was given 2 single beds pushed together, it was uncomfortable and when we asked to change they said that was the only room they had available, we couldn’t check out because we booked it through booking.com and it was non refundable. As you can see from my photos the wall had scratches and paint was peeling in some areas. I had experience staying at 1-2 stars hotels but for 70Euros per night this is a rip off, hotel staff mentioned to us we were lucky to be paying that price instead of 110Euros! I would not even pay 45Euros for this hotel. I would highly recommend hiring a car to the aiport and staying at a nicer hotel if you worried about early flights, we were amazed how they still get guests paying for this level of quality and i have been travelling around the world – this is by far my worst experience.

I have spent 3 nights at this nice hotel with my boy-friend and another couple of friends. We had great time! Lovely place, lovely staff, lovely balcony with sea view, great breakfast, free wi-fi in the common areas, good dinner at honest price (25 euros - all inclusive). Very close to Terasino, a small fisherman village (so typical!) with nice shops and good cafes and restaurants. Let's stay there again!
