We were supposed to spend the last night of our three-week escape to Southern Europe in Palermo on our way back to the US. We had driven all day around Sicily, from Taormina to Messina and around the horn on the coastal highway to Palermo. But worrying about missing a very early flight, and in great pain from a back injury I had sustained, we bypassed the city, searched on TripAdvisor for places to stay near the airport and there we discovered Cinisi's Antichi Colori B&B. We arrived without reservation around 8PM on a Friday evening and were soon greeted by one of the nicest, most beautiful and competent hospitality professionals we've ever had the good fortune to meet--Providenza! Our room was delightful, spacious, comfortable and spotless clean.
Half an hour later, Providenza returned and drove us (pain kept me from driving) to her favorite local restaurant where we dined under the stars and drank luscious Nero d'Avola. An hour and a half later, Providenza picked us up to-I thought-drive us back to the B&B. But, no. Providenza had made it her personal mission to locate a therapist for my back pain, arranged for an appointment at 10:30 PM, drove us there and waited until nearly 100% of the pain had been treated away one hour later. She then got us home by midnight to catch three hours of sleep before setting out for the flight. When we woke to the alarm at 3:30AM, Providenza was there to cook breakfast for us. It took some persuading, but we talked her out of preparing a full menu and just brewing some strong Arabico instead. Cinisi is a great spot to visit when traveling to Sicily--quaint, sufficiently off-the-beaten-path to lack chain stores and the place where Antichi Colori can be found. And where beautiful, thoughtful Providenza can be your hostess. We departed soon after, regretting not knowing about this jewel of a B&B earlier in our trip--we would have gladly stayed and explored longer. Five-star treatment in Cinisi!

Small b & b very charming with a warm and pleasant that I knew.
Pleasant is a little weak, come and see Providence "the boss" and you will understand ...

A perfect stay in an old cityhouse in a typical small sicilian city. Gently renovatet with modern
sculptures. I love cassata cake, so to sleep with one was wonderfull. Cinisi and house is located between ocean and mountain.
Cinisi is located near Palermo - a perfect city for sightseeing and shopping!
Service was kind and professionel.

Needed a place to stay last minute and another place recommended us here. Rooms were very nice (the owner told us she just opened recently), shower was nice and hot, parking was easy, the street is a little loud but we closed the window and put the a/c on you could barely hear a thing, and we had a nice typical Sicilian breakfast. Would be nice to have a mini fridge for longer stays but we were only there one night so it didn't bother us. Would recommend if you don't want to stay in right in Palermo its a close enough drive/bus trip away.
