We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst house hunting in Puglia.

The location is very beautiful, the room was large and very comfortable, breakfast was fresh and typical Italian and Sandra, the owner, baked fresh cake for breakfast.

Sandra was more than helpful, so friendly, lot's of advice this is a great place to stay when exploring the area around Ostuni, the drive into Ostuni town is short and Sandra will help organise a taxi if you don't want to drive.

Highly recommended.

We came here very late on the first day but everything was „no problem“. It is not so easy to find but it is worth staying for a couple of days or even longer. Sandra is super nice, very helpful and she is baking bread and cake herself. Yammie...
The breakfast is richer than normally in Italy and the rooms are nice clean and all decorated differently.
Any question will get answered and all whishes fullfilled before you can ask...
This is what adds so much more value to your holidays than anything else...

We stayed with 2 children (11-13) for one week 12-18 April 2017.
From Giovannarolla, you visit daily the whole core of Puglia: Alberobello, Cisternino, Martina Franca, Ostuni, Lecce and we pushed even to Matera (consider 1h:45mins driving).

Sandra and Alfieri do their best and beyond to get you feel at home: great breakfast, recommendation, quiet and relaxing during the day and whatever you need, they help you with.
House is great, in the midst of olive trees; rooms are spacious and each different inspired by old jobs: the decoration of original items is wonderful.

The morning breakfast on long table permits to meet new people and conversations take you through an incredible "voyage" with the other guests and Sandra.

and with the afternoon/evening discussions, through Alfieri's and Sandra's words you will learn what to plan for next day!!!

Great experience to do it again

Nice venue, comfortable rooms, but I wish the owner was a little compassionate to the needs of her clients, as a result I will never return or recommend.
We had to cut short our stay due to a ferry strike but the owner insisted on full payment, (and cash only as electronic payment was illegal!) because she stated she had to pay booking.com the full amount. I know this not to be true, but I expect there will be a clever reply to counteract my poor review.
