I cannot recommend this hotel and the amazing Danka enough. The hotel arranged everything for us, ski gear, lift passes and transfers to and from the Airport etc. Busses are also offered to other local ski resorts if you require more of a challenge. Rooms are modest, but impeccably clean and well maintained. The food is also excellent and reasonably priced, with a wide selection of dishes available. Thank you very much for such an amazing experience and I hope to see you all again soon.

Perfect hotel to enjoy your snow holidays!!!!

It is near to 3 sky resorts, they get the skypass for you and manage the hire of the ski equipement. Food is very good and rooms are very confortable. In addition, thye will make you feel like at home.

Do not hesitate!... it is totally recomendable :-)

If you read the other positive reviews for the Hotel Spampatti they will only confirm what I have to write here in the fact that this is indeed the most accessible and friendly hotel I have had the pleasure to stay in recent years.
Danka and Janka work tirelessly to make your trip as pleasant and stress free as possible, and the Family Spampatti are most gracious and hospitable.
I travelled with my son (13yrs) for a half term break and found the transition from Airport to Hotel to Ski Hire to Slope unbelievably stress free, seamless and quick.
My son and I had a smallish twin room at the rear of the hotel which was maintained to the usual high standards you expect with Italian accomodation, and although compact was perfect for a restful night (after all you are here to ski, not stay in bed all day!!)
The food(having upgraded to half board) was of excellent standard and plentiful ( and I can eat!) and the drinks all reasonably priced.
The resort of Presolana is small but the runs are perfect for the amateur skier and whilst we were there the lifts had little queue time (only a few italian ski school lessons) and we accessed all the available runs with ease
My son was quite content doing the same runs over again and for me it was nice to take in the fresh alpine air and ambience without the stress of going gung ho down the mountain
I recommend that the more serious skier go to Monte Pora for a challenge or around the mountain to Colere where the snow plateau at 2515m is simply breathtaking
I could go on about the plus points but there are too many to mention
This is a really good 3 star hotel with plenty of relax areas after you return from the slopes
The prices are extremely reasonable compared to France & Austria etc and will suit even the most stringent budget
All round excellent, relaxing ski break in a lovely area with nice people!!

Room Tip: Rooms with a balcony overlook the slopes and Presolana mountain area and the scenery is breathtaking

This was our second trip to this delightful family run hotel. They look after everything from the moment you are picked up at Bergamo airport until it's time to return home.We spent 5 days with 3 other family friends and had a wonderful time. The hospitality shown by Danka and her lovely sister Janka was outstanding. The Spampatti family are so lucky to have them! They looked after our every needs and I am so grateful to Janka for helping me out with my complex dietary needs! The food was wonderful.
The ski slopes are just across the road and fabulous for beginners. For the more experienced skier, Montepora is about 20 minutes away. We were fortunate that there was a lot of snow. This hotel is great value for money and a great break. I would highly recommend it to others.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights at the start of February and are full of praise for this lovely little hotel. Even before we arrived the hotel staff met all of our needs - they arranged transport from the airport and allocated us a balcony room as requested. The location is great - short transfer time and then less than one minutes walk to the slopes. Upon arrival at the hotel we were met by Danka who was incredibly hospitable and an all round lovely person! She sorted us out equipment wise, offered us reccommnedations on where to go in the village and directed us to the best runs on the slopes. The food in the hotel itself was fabulous - proper home cooking. Our room was quaint and comfortable and the view was breath-taking. All round we had an excellent trip and would definitely head back here again for a weekend ski break.

Room Tip: Request a room with a balcony as the views are stunning.

Myself and boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights from 27th to the 30th December as part of an ActivityBreaks.com skiing package. From the moment we stepped off the plane until we left, the hotel owners and staff couldn't do enough for us. Mr. Spampatti met us off the plane just outside the arrival gates with a sign and within the hour we were at the hotel and checked in. Then Mr. Spampatti brought us the short distance to pick up out boots and ski's and after a bit of lunch in the hotel we walked literally across the road to the slopes of Presolana. Just to give some info on the slopes, there are 2 different ski areas accessible from this hotel, Presolana and Monte Pora. Presolana is smaller and more basic whilst Monte Pora is bigger, more of a resort, with a better selection of runs. Whilst we were there, we got no snow so not all runs we're open. This meant that in Presolana there was only one red open which can get boring. We stayed for 3 nights so we were expecting a half day skiing for our arrival day and then two full days skiing but our flight on the last day wasn't till late so Danka in the hotel sorted out our passes to give us an additional half day on our last day so we were still skiing up until a few hours before our flight. Our first and last day (half days) were spent on the Presolana slopes and the two full days we went to Monte Pora. We didn't really enjoy the last half day in Presolana after the better slopes in Monte Pora but again that's a personal choice and it didn't help that most of the slopes weren't open due to the lack of snow. Getting to Monte Pora is easy because transport to and back is provided by the hotel as part of the package and the journey is only about 15 minutes. We would ski from 10 till 4 and have a few drinks before being picked up at 5, but the hotel are very flexible about drop off and pick up times. The hotel rooms themselves are typically Italian, basic but spotlessly clean. After our first night, Mrs. Spampatti asked whether my boyfriend had slept ok since he is tall but the bed had a metal frame across the bottom. He said no that he felt a bit twisted and she immediately organised that we were changed to another room with a different bed. As regards food in the hotel, the breakfast is basic, croissants, cakes, breadrolls etc but it's all good quality and plenty of it. We didn't go for the all inclusive option but we had lunch and dinner in the hotel twice because it was so good. Hats off to Max in the kitchen because the food was fantastic and in a different league to other ski hotels I've stayed in in Italy. The food was definately restaurant standard as opposed to hotel standard. Around the hotel there isn't much in the way of bars or restaurants but the hotel will happily provide their minibus as a taxi service to drop you off to the centre of the town which is very pretty and has a decent few bars and restaurants. Overall, I can't complement the hotel and staff enough. Danka went out of her way for us and both herself and her sister are constantly working away to make sure everyone is looked after. Again, the food is excellent and Mr. And Mrs. Spampatti definately push the ethos that the customer comes first. This was one of the easiest and most stress free short breaks we have ever taken because the hotel went out of their way to do everything possible for us.
