Great experience at Stratos. Yannis and staff very accommodating pick up and drop off from port.
Great sea view from balcony, very relaxing. Very comfortable room and great position just out of town. Recommend we stayed 9 days and didn't want to leave. Paros is paradise.

Room Tip: Balcony with sea view

First, we were offered seaview rooms with breakfast at a good price (for this time of the year) from Pireus, by the owner himself. Then, on arrival to Paros, we were welcomed by the owner's son, Rafael, & free transfer to the studio apt. Once there, we were given a clean spacious studio (2 floors down from reception) with spotless bathroom, perfect kitchenette & big balcony but no seaview. He then explained that they were full at the moment (we arrived just after sunset) & will switch our room in the morning. Crystal clear explanation was given on how to go about in the town & good places were recommended. We rented bicycles (€5 each for whole day) to get around. The place was quiet & relaxing. Breakfast was simple. Cleanliness was maintained throughout the whole place. Yannis was very helpful especially on assisting us with our next stop to Santorini. Rafael also managed to guide us to a different village when he spotted us in town, in the middle of the road. Katerina was always cheerful & ready to assist in any questions you have. Love the peace & calmness as well as the clean white atmosphere with beautiful seaview. Transfer back to port was also free & very much helpful! Thanks once again~

We stayed 2 nights at Stratos Studios.
Let me start with the pros:
They picked us up from the port and helped us with our bags.
They offered us a non-alcoholic beverage because our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 1:30pm.
Other than that, I really can't find anything positive to say about Stratos studios. When the room was finally ready, they led us down 2 flights of stairs and down a long, dark hallway that reeked of cat pee to where our room was. The room itself was awful. Scratchy sheets, no natural light, old curtains. Everything felt old and dirty and I am reminded of my stay by the numerous bug bites covering my legs. Thankfully there was lots to do in Paros so we didn't have to spend much time in the room. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business when there are nicer, reasonably priced hotels in the downtown area of Parikia. Don't waste your time or money here.

This is the second time that we have stayed with Stratos and his delightful family and it certainly won't be the last. Paros is our very favourite island in the Cyclades, and the personal service at Stratos studios enhances the visit even further. How they manage to provide such an amazing service to all their visitors is unbelievable. From constant free pick ups and drop offs at the port/airport/bus station, to the willing local advice, and just spending the time having a coffee and chatting, as well as providing great information via email before we arrived. They never give the impression of being too busy to have time for the niceties of life. They were even happy to look after our 2 year old while I was moving our stuff between rooms (it was high season and we booked late, so we had to change rooms mid-stay, but this was not a problem at all). They do a lovely breakfast which we had every day sitting on their beautiful communal balcony. Reception is manned 24 hours a day, and the rooms are cleaned daily. This is a completely family run place, and it may be called "Studios" but they definitely run it as a hotel. You can also rent motorcycles here. It's not right in town, but the advantage is that it's quiet in the evenings and as you are high, the views over the bay are wonderful, especially at sunset. There is a bus stop 50m from the front door where some of the buses to other parts of the island stop, otherwise it's a pleasant 10 min stroll into town to the bus station. You can either eat in town in the evenings, or there is even a very good restaurant just 5 mins down the road from Stratos. It's all very easy and Stratos and his family go out of their way to make sure that you have a splendid holiday. Just a word that July and August are busy months, so for the best rooms try to book early. Otherwise try to travel a little bit out of season, when you will also get a really good deal on rooms.

Room Tip: Unless you are on a budget, I would suggest asking for a sea-view room (either partial or full). Th...

Stratos rooms are a bit out of town, but there is a local supermarket and lovely bakery 5 minutes walk away. It is also on the road to two lovely beaches, Delphini and Parosporos. The room was immaculately clean and had a double electric burner, sink unit and crockery etc. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a lift to and from the ferry port if needed. An easy walk into the main town, uphill on the way back. Would recommend it.
