“Fantastic holidays”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Me and my family spent very nice holidays in pyrgaki hotel . The food was excellent and home made. Every day we ordered a different Food out of menu . Also the staf recommended the best places to go . The view of the room was great, full sea view. The port of Parikia town was only 15 minutes walk distance

I visited Pyrgaki Hotel with my family on August. From first time we felt like home! Costas & Eleni, the couple running the hote, were the best hosts we could ever imagine. We are visiting Paros the last 10 years but I think after this summer we finally found our place. Pyrgaki has super comfortable, modern decorated rooms with light blue and beige colors (the most important-everything inside seems new and clean), the best view to Parikia gulf and sea, tasty homemade breakfast (try Chrysoula's pancakes they rock), nice clean pool (and kids pool next to the main pool which is quite important for families) and the hotel is located a bit out of the busy city center so you can relax and if you want walk to the city which is 15 minutes on foot. Costas & Eleni we are coming back this summer!!!

Room Tip: family rooms ground floor by the pool are perfect for families with young kids!

Great hotel!! I love being in Greece and the hotel was great! Excellent chef, amazing greek food! The staff was amazing they help us rent a car, and with everything we need. The pool is excellent and clean and the rooms are very nice, just like home. Great island where you can rest, party and visit the beautiful Greek islands.
I definitely recommend the hotel and of course I’m coming back as soon as I can! I miss Greece! The best beaches of the world! (Well just as pretty as Mexican beaches!)
Thanks you for the hospitality!

Room Tip: Of course the rooms next to the pool are amazing!

I went to Pyrgaki hotel with my boyfriend. We had a really great time there. Big, very clean rooms and great view of the sea. The stuff was helpful and friendly. What I liked most was the pool!! Really cool! It was a bit far from Paroikia village, 20 minutes walk but I truly reccommend it if you want to have a nice, quiet stay at Paros island.

We stayed at this hotel and we have to say this is not a 4 star hotel.

We have been to 4 star hotels before and this definitely does not fit the category.

The young reception lady (Eleni?) was very nice, she was always willing to lend a hand and call for any enquirers. she even ordered souvlaki to the hotel for us!

Unfortunately this is where the good ends.

The owner is pretty rude - we would rather go via the women then him.
The breakfast is absolutely poor - no eggs or bacon - no hot food at all. Simple cereals and breads. Very poor for a 4 star if you ask me!

The hotel is not close to the main town - it is literally a good 15min walk down and up rocky mountains.

The room was nothing special - the beds were very uncomfortable and the bathroom was very small.

I strongly advise you hire a ATV when you stay here as it will allow you to travel at your leisure.

Next time we will stay at a hotel that is much closer to the beach or port.

Hotel was ok even though three stars would be more suitable class for it. Sea view was astonishing and was really worth of pay 10€ extra for that. Service was ok, breakfast quite poor. There wasn't any vegetables in breakfast buffet and we would have expected a little bit more variety for four stars hotel. Location could be better. We advice you to rent a moto to move around Parikia. Swimming pool was small but it was anyway a pool.

We booked three nights, but enjoyed the stay and the island so much, we had to book another night. Our room was spacious and clean with a wonderful view over the town and harbour. (we loved the way our pajamas were arranged on our clean and freshly made beds!)
We hired bicyles to see the island and that solved the problem with the distance to town. We even had a lovely ride with the owner in his car to the other side of the island. We felt like V.I.P's!
The staff was always friendly and welcoming with a glass of orange juice when we first arrived on a hot summer day! After every joyful day, we came back to have a swim in the sparkling blue pool, right underneath our room's balcony. We enjoyed a 'self-made' sundowner on our balcony with the view of the son setting over the harbour underneath - a picture to remember for ever in our minds. After a busy day down in town, it was nice to have distance and quietness in the evenings - the up-side of the hotel's location.
We are always greatful for having food to eat - so we enjoyed the breakfast every morning and had plenty to eat. The view added flair to our joyful breakfasts!
When the end of our holiday on lovely Paros arrived, we were taken to the harbour with a warm greeting by the owner!!
We fell in love with Paros and we tell all our friends about the ONE place to stay - the Pyrgaki Hotel.
