You get a good feel of the age of this church when stepping through the doors from the amount of stonework and colourful stone vaulted ceiling. Great history even in the floors where Roman archaeology can be seen. Lovely iconostasis as usual in orthodox churches. Lost count of the doors after about twenty.

This church is amazing it is breathtaking and a must see to be believed. You are not allowed to take photos but then again the photos wouldn’t do it justice. There are lots of doors with something special inside, and hidden surprises. There are glass panels in the floor where the original Greeks columns once stood of the church. It will take you breath away sit and enjoy a bit of history for a while just beautiful.

This is a very famous Byzantine historic church complex in Parikia. It is named the church with 100 doors , however it does not have one hundred church. When you visit Paros, definitely go see this place, then stroll along the walking streets of Parikia full of unique shops, cafes, bakeries and restaurants. You will enjoy it.

If you ever visit Paros don’t miss this church. Apart from from the peacefulness of the place you will enjoy so much joy as your heart will be bloomed with scents from the trees as well as from the tranquility.
