An opulent church with a theatrical atmosphere; one can hear the sound of the dresses of Byzantine ladies on the upper galleries...

You should visit this church because it is situated in the heart of Paroikia but don't expect much because you will see nothing special. Fortunately there is not an entrance ticket, the church is rather smaller than expected, it has only two important holy images and not too many iconographies as other. The church was under construction at our time of visit, and the patio and garden around the church were not maintained well, so you could not do much around.

This cathedral is gorgeous inside. It also has a chapel with an adult baptistry. The grounds are very clean and welcoming. The iconography and beauty of he cathedral is stunning. The Cathedral is a stone's throw away from the port in Paroikia so it is very accessible. Well worth a visit.

interesting peace of Paros to see, it is very close to port where all ferries stop. One of the oldest Byzantine churches in all Greece ( the Baptistery on the left from main church)

A great church built on ancient temple ruins. You can still see the ancient parts through glasses on the floors.
