Although it was the end of the season when we got to Paros, the hotel welcomed us warmly and the staff was gracious and helpful all times.
Check-in was smooth and we were taken to our rooms after they offered us a drink, very nice detail.
The room was spacious and bright, it had a medium sized balcony and a lovely view.
We rented a scooter to get into town for dinner and to Naousa, the receptionist helped us organize it.
We also went to Antiparos for the day. there is not much to see in paros but we had a great 4 day stay there.

We are a family of 3, 2 adults and a young daughter (9 on our trip). Paros was our first Greek Island for our vacation. We were spoiled by the Hotel Agnanti the minute we arrived. Our room #56 was amazing as it was elevated giving us the most beautiful views we've ever been blessed to have. Every day after a swim, we would open our balcony and front door and enjoy the beautiful warm breeze. The room was absolutely spotless! Wonderfully and simply decorated with traditional touches. The figs at breakfast were to die for. Visitors to Hotel Agnanti are in for a treat, the hotel owner has an organic farm that provides you with the freshest produce. Our stay was delightful. Nina was a fantastic young woman who worked at the pool. Can't say enough! Paros is an amazing place, rent a car and explore. There is much to see if you don't mind going off the beaten path. Enjoy!

Paros was the 2nd. stop of our 3 stop vacations on the Cyclades. All the hotels we booked through Apollo.no. The Agnanti was one of the nicest hotels we saw on the Apollo web page for Paros that was on our price range. I can only say that the total experience was wonderful.

We reserved one of the suites and can without any doubt highly recommend them. The price difference is minimal compared to the standard rooms and the difference is big. The standard rooms are good also but the suite was amazing. The space was huge, it had a giant balcony with a magnificent view and everything inside was top. There was electronics like DVD and an LCD TV (we didn't use this) in addition to the normal appliances you find on most rooms.

The bathroom was very nice, my only complain is that the shower was too open and the bathroom floor was a mess after taking a bath, it went ok putting some towels on the floor though.

The areas inside the hotel are top notch. The pool area was very nice and was very well maintained. The pool bar was the best I visited during our vacations. Nina, the girl on the bar made our stay very pleasant. She is one of the must experienced bar attendants I found on the hotels we visited. Thanks a lot to her for her dedication on everything that she did. We didn't use the tennis / basket facilities but they looked nice. They are one of the few hotels we visited that had NOVA satellite service, though not in the room, this let me watch some Premier League football on the giant projector they have on the conference room. NOVA has the rights for the English footy in Greece.

One very pleasant thing is that the hotel has a free WiFi hot spot service available to the guest in the lobby and restaurant areas. They were the only hotel that offered this. On most places you have to pay for the wireless Internet access. They also had a stationary PC that you could use if you didn't have your laptop with you.

The only negative point that I can remember could have been that the menu was not very variated on the restaurant. I recommend you to go and eat on one of the villages. The food is not bad but it could be better. The best sandwiches were served i the pool bar, made by Nina :)

The beach is at walking distance (5 minutes) from the hotel and the walk path is good. The beach was nice and very clean. The sea is very calm.

in conclusion we were very pleased to have stayed at the Agnanti and will surely come back next time we are in Paros.

We arrived at the Paros Agnanti late in the evening after taking the afternoon Blue Star ferry boat from Piraeus. Driving our own car, I had very consise directions kindly provided me by email from Anna, one of the desk clerks at Reception. Check-in was easy and we were shown to our reserved room (number 67, double superior) by Anna. It was located at the far end of the third building (there are four buildings in the complex), very convenient for walking our dog in a nearby field, and right next to a single parking place for the car. The only glitch that night was NO HOT WATER! This turned out to be a break in the system which was repaired the next morning.

Impressions: Room 67 was classed superior, which meant it was slightly larger than the standard rooms and better furnished I guess. In any case it was in fact large and quite nice. Entry was from the rear parking area and a common terrace. The bath was on the right as one entered, large with a tub/shower, but no hook to hang the shower head. The sink had complementary toilet articles. but the hair dryer was located in the bedroom for some reason. No bidet and a smallish window. The bedroom was quite large and lead out onto a nice private terrace with sea view (somewhat obstructed by building 4 in front). There were two comfortable twin beds, extra pillows, large wardrobe with a safe, blankets, bathrobes and slippers. There were two chairs, a dresser, and a rather tiny refrigerator stocked with drinks, but leaving no room for stocking one's own water and things. On the negative side, the room needed painting, expecially the doors. There was no screening on any of the windows and at night the mosquitos invaded. The only thing to do was shut everything and turn on the air conditioning which wouldn't ordinarily be needed because the nights were cool.

The buffet breakfast included in the room rate (€220 a night) was varied and very good. Three types of eggs, bacon, sausages, cold cuts, sweet cakes and pastries, etc., coffee, tea, and juices. One could sit either inside or at tables on the sea view terrace covered with large umbrellas. The restaurant staff was mostly East European but very helpful.

We didn't use the pool but the across fhe road from the hotel was a nice paved walkway leading down to Marchello Beach, one of the nicest beaches on Paros with fine golden sand. One of the local pubs had beach sun beds and umbrellas set up for €7 a day. Looking out to the sea (really the Bay of Pariokia), to the left was an organized beach with bars, tavernas, etc. To the right was a little quay where the beach boats from Pariokia off loaded and picked up people. Being a free beach apparently no one cleans it other than periodically emptying the trash containers. Unfortunately there are hundreds of cigarette butts and wadded up facial tissues left behind by the more uncivilized guests.

I disagree with the comments posted by a Greek TA member in August. Help was available for carrying bags to the rooms, the €5 deposit for beach towels was clearly posted at the front desk and the information card in the room, and no where did I see any reference to the beach being hotel property. Our three night stay at the Paros Agnanti was very pleasant and I would recommend it to anyone.

I have been staying at the Paros Agnanti hotel every summer for about eight years. One would think it would get old, the same locaction (usually the same room) year after year but the magic of this hotel is that there is always something exciting or different going on. The spacious room are more home-like than any hotel i have ever stayed at; complete with beautiful decorations and beds more comfortable than my own at home. The dining room is always a vivacious place. You meet people from all over the world and the owners of the hotel talk to the different guest to better there vacation with suggestions for trips or beaches. When staying at the hotel one has the option of going to the pool or the sea. The sea is less than five minutes away from the hotel on foot. For a sporty visitor, Paros Agnanti is equipped with a basketball court and a tennis court. But it is the general atmosphere that I love the most. The people are so friendly and willing to be of service, something that in New York City is very rare.

The Paros Agnanti is a nice hotel with good service. The location is just out of Parikia which is not at all a problem because there is a regular shuttle bus to town and the taxi is about 6 or 7 € one way.
The hotel is approx. 300 m from a very nice beach where you can find sundbeds and umbrellas to let for 7 € a day.
Originally we had booked a standard room but because we found it very small we upgraded to a superior one. This was much nicer and bigger than the regular room! So the bigger rooms are much better.
The staff was friendly and the food o.k. The breakfast was not really with a big choice and any other than the standard coffee e.g. lattè or cappucino had to be paid for.
But the view from the terrasse towards Parikia is great and the pool is really good.

We have been to Hotel Paros Agnanti ... four times; mostly in July and the beginning of August. Every year we look forward to packing for Paros Agnanti. To us the hotel is just the picture of harmony: gorgeous, just a few meters from the sea, very quiet and perfectly clean; the breakfast buffet offers a very wide range of international as well as local organic products; the food is excellent. The bedrooms have incredible view and are quite spacious and comfortable; the swimming pool is great.

What we love about Paros Agnanti hotel is the nice and warm welcome we get: from the hotel-owner and manager, from the reception staff, the driver... We feel we belong.

We hope to come as soon as possible with our granchildren!
