My husband and I stayed at Hotel Paros from Sept 10 - 12 and it was fantastic! The location was great - it was on the main strip but far enough from the hustle and bustle that you don't hear so much. It's about a 5 min walk from the port. At night, it was nice to walk along the boardwalk, where there are so many restos and shops.
The hotel was also very clean. My husband and I had to laugh because compared to our previous stay on Mykonos, the room was very small but had an amazing view of the water. It was so nice to open the new windows and doors (can't hear any noise from the street) to walk out onto the very spacious balcony where we enjoyed the view and eating bread, cheese and drinking wine. There was no complimentary breakfast but there are a lot of restaurants on the strip serving breakfast for no more than 6 euros for a decent bacon & eggs. We had such a lovely time at Hotel Paros - Jenny was so nice and amazing! She gave us things to do during our stay, where to go and where to eat. If you want good, inexpensive fish, go to the town of Aliki. It`s about a 10 min drive out of Parikia but it`s such a cute fishing town and the food is fantastic (if you want fish and various seafoods). She also suggested where to rent our 4-wheeler from because there is one place she doesn`t recommend.
For shopping in Parikia, it`s not the biggest. They do have the main area but there's not many shops to choose from.
The beaches in Paros, like any other greek island, were amazing. The one we really liked, that Jenny suggested, was the one up in Naoussa. The beach had crazy rock formations. It was small but well worth the drive. Ask her about it ... but Naoussa in general, has beautiful scenery. You'll be able to take amazing pics! Near the beach, there is also a nice taverna that has an amazing terrace.
Tip - rent a 4-wheeler... you'll be able to go all over the island and take many beautiful pictures. It`s not all about the beaches! Paros is a very beautiful island.
Thank you Jenny for making our stay memorable and amazing!
