“Nice hotel, but a few issues”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2009

Beautiful hotel, wonderful views over the harbor area. The grounds, pool, and public areas are very nice. Everything is spotlessly clean. Conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood - just a short walk to town. Staff was polite. Included continental breakfast was good.

The room was adequate. There was a kitchen area with fridge, hot plate, and sink, which was useful. The small balcony provided a nice place to sit and enjoy the view. Small TV, but no clock or radio.

There were some issues with our room. The mattresses on the twin beds definitely need to be replaced. We found them to be very uncomfortable. The bathroom was so tiny that the door did not open without hitting the sink. Very awkward space in which to maneuver. The shower curtain was not large enough to prevent water from escaping onto the bathroom floor. There was a drain for the excess water, but we still found ourselves standing in a puddle every morning. The phone in the room was not working during our visit.

Thank you for your positive review. Your remarks will help us improve our Hotel. We will take into consideration your few issues and improve the room that you are discussing.
Just for your notes, the Hotel is built in accordance to cycladic architecture. The cyclades people are quite small, therefore this is why some things may seem small, where as to others they seem standard.
Thank you for staying with us.

Stayed here in Sept with a couple of friends. Accommodation was great - peaceful, laid back with a nice view of the sea. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the town & nearest beach. The town of Naoussa is lovely - would definetly recommend staying here for a taste of Greece with old cobbled streets & port side bars and restaurants. And this hotel would be my ideal spot to stay.

We were 5 girls sharing one apartment and we had plenty of room. 2 big rooms with double beds + a sofa bed. 2 big bathrooms with showers. A little kitchen. And best of all, a patio with a big table and umbrella where we can eat nice dinners. The hotel owner Kris was very nice. She gave us tips, recommended restaurants. It's a 5 minute walk to the bus stop and about 8-10 minutes to the main center. About 20 minute bus ride to port. And the pool area was beautiful

I have been clients of Paliomylos for the last 15 years. I come twice a year every year.
Paliomylos make me to love Naousa of Paros. Cryss and Kostas the owner are very friendly and can solve you any problem. I cannot imagine Paros without stay in Paliomylos. The view from Paliomylos is fantastic and the rooms are comfortable.Breakfast is very delicius and they also have a very nice snack bar.

Beautiful hotel, roomy rooms, very nice staff, good breakfast with a nice view of the water, nice pool, free wifi - very close to town, just far enough away. Really loved it, especially the owners, and would definitely go back!

We usually travel without booking in advance and from Athens, our previous stop, we chose this hotel and book 4 nights then extended to 5. I can only confirm what the other people said re this hotel, nice apartment although without frills (we love simple and authentic places), nice view, nice breakfasts, calmness, in other worlds all the ingredients in order to have a nice and relaxing experience. I would personally thank the owner Mr. Kostas as well as Chris since they have been all the time so nice and helpful with us!

We stayed at the 'Paliomylos Hotel and appartments' in June and it certainly lived up to all the positive reviews posted on Trip advisor .
Our room (118) was extremely spacious, very clean and had a wonderful view from the balcony over the bay. The service provided by the staff was excellent, the rooms were thoroughly cleaned every day, the grounds were kept immaculate and the breakfast each day was excellent with some lovely local breads and produce. The hotel grounds has lots of nooks and crannies so you feel as if you have your own personal space. The pool although quite compact is great for cooling off after you return from sightseeing or the beach.
The whole atmosphere of the hotel is calm, relaxing and very welcoming.
The hotel is ideally placed, a five minute walk brings you to the 'hub' of the village where there are some excellent restaurants and bars. This distance away from the 'hub' also ensures a good night sleep as the hotel is extremely quiet and peaceful at night.
Naoussa is a beautiful little village with some excellent beaches nearby which you can visit by little boats or by bus. The bus service to Paprikia is very good so it is very easy to explore the whole island.
I would certainly reccommend Paliomylos to my friends and woudn't hesitate to stay there again.
