“Quintessential Greek Island view”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

What a great find! We sat out the back overlooking the small fishing port and it was fantastic – the quintessential Greek Island view! The service was excellent – attentive but not obtrusive, friendly and welcoming. The simplicity of the food - yet tasty – and served on lovely retro plates. The kitchen is also worth having a look at – beautifully organised and clean. I recommend this place – even just for the view alone! Would I eat here again? If I'm fortunate enough to be in Paros again – definitely!

“Great Grilled Chicken Souvlaki”
Reviewed September 3, 2012 via mobile

This restaurant has a beautiful location by the little port in Naoussa. We sat at one of the little tables on small port side looking at the little fishing boats. This place is worth the visit for the location alone. The service of small pita's with local sour mitrathra for spread was a nice variation for bread. We had the grilled eggplant with yogout sauce and pomegranate and the fried feta covered in sesame with preserved cherries. We ordered chicken soulvlaki sticks from the grill and they were cooked perfectly.

“to be avoided”
Reviewed July 18, 2012

we (a family of 4) have had a poor dinner yesterday at this restaurant. We ordered slouvaki, a so-called argentinian beef, and a kebab. Both deep below average, meat was belo average, poorly cooked (too much salt); only french fries were OK. we ordered two glasses of wine, and had lot of fun when our 16-year old son told us "this is sangria, not wine"...

As a summary, to be avoided

“Mediocre Food - Terrible Business Sense”
Reviewed July 15, 2012

We visited this restaurant in search of a simple souvlaki meal. We ordered a Greek Salad which I think was over priced at 8 EUR considering its small size, spicy cheese dip which was not that special, and 4 souvlakia.

The souvlaki was above average, but this isn't the point. The point is that this restaurant should have never offered it in the first place! It took 40 minutes for the order to be delivered to our table. Ridiculous really. The waiter tried explaining that only recently, souvlaki was added to the menu and they generally are not well enough equipped in the grill department to satisfy demand.

At 1.60 EUR per souvlaki, they APPEAR to be quite a bargain considering the next cheapest dish available at this "meat bar" is over 12 EUR. So naturally they're going to sell. Which sucked for us considering their grill was smaller than our table. After waiting 40 minutes for "fast food" the least they could do is remove the 1.80 EUR per person cover charge. The highest cover charge we saw during our 8 day island hopping vacation at any restaurant we visited. Another serious cringe factor on this review.

They seem to know how to make decent meat dishes. Great. But take off the souvlaki if you can't deliver it under half an hour. The souvlaki was good, but not good enough to warrant the wait.
