It was our last night at Paros and we really wanted to make it a night worth remembering. We reached Naoussa at around 10 p.m. and were strolling to pick a place. The Flaming Greek was buzzing with a lot of people and had loud music blaring. However it looked more like a place where the locals party. So we moved on to explore a bit more and after seeing all other almost empty places decided to go back to The Flaming Greek.
The place has a sit out open cafe and closed bar. At that hour the outside cafe was dark and the bar inside was really buzzing. We ordered for our drinks and just sat enjoying the music. After a while one of the patrons walked up to us and asked us where we are from. After a little conversation we were pulled by fellow travelers and patrons to dance. The bartender Ahanasios was soo lovely she and the gentleman (i cannot remember his name now) were so kind. They offered us free drinks, played some Indian music and everybody at the bar was sooo warm, kind and friendly.
We drank and danced and really had wonderful conversations with many locals and fellow travelers. I even danced on the bar top and had my own Cayote Ugly moment :)
All in all if you wanna see true Greek Hospitality and a evening to remember forever THE FLAMING GREEK is a must visit and go there in the night for a fabulous bar scene!
