The hotel is located in Heringsdorf on the island of Usedom close to the beach and Kurhaus near the Polish border. It has a long history and was used mainly as vacation hotel for privileged communist leaders till 1990. Since then it was totally renovated and is now a small 4 star hotel and part of the Seetel Hotel chain which operates several hotels on the Island. Decor is contemporary but not 'designer ' style.
Room size is ok but bathrooms are small even for European standards. The restaurant serves excellent innovative food and service is good. All staff is friendly and very eager to help. They have many specials going (room and dinner plans ) so ask for it
Parking is a problem but there is a garage at their affiliated hotel Pommerscher Hof. Guests can use the spa fascilities at this hotel too but pool and sauna is nothing special.More
