We had a lovely time at the Grossfuchsenhof. Our teenage daughters shared a double room and we had rented one of the holiday flats which (with the exception of the kitchen) proved quite spacious and light. The living room of our flat was big enough to accommodate our family plus the family of friends (who also stayed at the Grossfuchsenhof) for a glass of wine in the evenings. There also is a common room for all guests with (German) board and card games which can be borrowed and a TV. Breakfast is included and is typical continental style with fresh rolls, butter, jam, honey, chocolate spread, cheese, cooked meats and pate, boiled eggs, fruit salad, fresh fruit and yoghurt/quark. Coffee could be better and we missed real orange juice. Earl Grey tea and fruit squash was available. The house is walking distance from the village center that offers nice views, a beautiful church and a number of lovely shops. The team are most helpful and friendly, the rooms are practical, nice and clean and the Grossfuchsenhof is situated just around the corner (2 min walking distance) of the chairlift to the Hocheck, which is a smaller but apparently snow-safe Ski-Resort and nice hiking area in summer. We liked the "MOT-approved" tobogganing-track (3km) best, although the weather was foggy and warmer than usual hence snow quite a bit slushy. The Grossfuchsenhof is an ideal place for families or people who want a clean, most friendly and simple accommodation. If you are looking for luxury, or if you mind church bells (church nearby) you might prefer looking somewhere else.
