Superb inn in a gorgeous part of the Black Forest. Dining at Rebstock Waldulm is a high point of staying there. This is not a spot that caters to foreign tourists, but more to Germans who appreciate excellent service and cuisine. No pig's knuckles or schnitzles, but wonderfully complex flavors using fairly simple, local, seasonal ingredients. Wine list is varied and similarly superb. Our meals were typically 60 Euros for two with no scrimping on the menu or the fine wines and obst. As for the room? Great value at approximately 80 Euros nightly... Large, clean, and quiet, with a small creek lulling you to sleep. Worth going out of your way for if you're looking for something off the beaten path, for a special occasion at a reasonable price. At least one or two of the staff speak English and French. Lots of serious cyclists here in the summer, as well as those who like trekking the hundreds of miles of well-marked paths. We spent two nights here, and regret not having stayed a bit longer!
