This restaurant had been recommended to us by the manager of the villa we rented. She billed it as a decent, down-to-earth place to eat in the village, and we liked it very much. We sat on the prettily-lit terrace at the front, overlooking the chateau. The fare is mainly steaks, traditional goats cheese salad etc and savoury & sweet crepes. The steaks were cooked as we like them and I was relieved that my vegetarian daughter could be catered for with a cheese crepe, which she enjoyed. I was disappointed not to have room for Crepes Suzette to finish, as I’m sure this restaurant would do it well. A good bet for village dining, with friendly service.
