“Wow. Our best restaurant meal in France!”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

I cannot tell you how great this meal was! My wife and I chose from one of the lunch menus. I had the foie gras, duck, cheese course, and creme brulee. My wife had the crumble de legumes, steak and vegetables, and chocolate mousse. Our meals were awesome. The atmosphere was great. It seemed like the tables were filled with mostly locals. The restaurant had a very friendly atmosphere. We had a great, long, slow, enjoyable meal. The staff was very friend, communicated in English, and was very attentive.

“Another perfect visit, we will be back next year”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

A lovely warm summer evening for en famille dining at one of our favourite haunts. Prompt friendly service as always, great big high quality pizzas (4 seasons, goats cheese) from the huge oven; shady tables on the terrace (gets v busy later); green salads with garlic dressing another hit, pichet de rouge more than did the trick wine-wise, many local wines have that wonderful high grenache/syrah/mouverdre content. A hit.

“Relaxed”
Reviewed July 20, 2013

Very popular and informal family restaurant in the wooded hillside just outside 2 miles outside of Beaumes de Venise. Seems to be plenty of parking but can get busy later. The Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the focus is on pizzas and grills.

My calzone royale was as good an example as I've had anywhere . Grilled goats cheese prior to that and, later, home-made tiramisu for dessert were both jolly good too. And all very sportily priced

Most of the large dining area is outside and easily able to accommodate big parties which can predominate at weekends. Also, as a deliberate family restaurant and with lots of space, there are usually a herd of excitable small children running around the arrival area. So avoid tables immediately at the front if you want to be a little quieter.

Family-friendly, relaxed, well-run, economic and pushing out reliable output - not too difficult to see why punters of all sizes keep coming back.

“Good food, wonderful staff”
Reviewed June 10, 2013

After a nice bike ride in the beautiful surroundings of the Mont Ventoux we had lunch on the lovely terrace of this wonderful restaurant. Because of the lovely staff we felt immediately welcome. We tried one of the menus and were suprised by the quality of the food (especially the duck is worth trying). The waitress advised a local red wine to go with it (Domaine de Durban), which made a perfect combination. In the three days that were left of our holiday we visited Cote Vignes two more times (the third day it was closed ;-)) and never regretted it.
