“a very quaint house”
Reviewed November 24, 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Lovely traditional house decorated and maintained to modern and high standards. We had a party in the downstairs' cellar, which was magical. Very friendly and helpful owner. We asked her to prepare a meal for our wine tasting party and the local cuisine her family prepared was excellent.

It was a pleasure to receive Takashi and all his friends.
He had perfectly organized his stay during the famous WE of the Wine Sale of Hospices of BEAUNE.
He organized in my cellar a tasting of wines and a dinner with a dozen friends.

Takashi enjoyed this evening spent in my cellar until late in the evening.

It is with great pleasure I will receive him again

“Some good, some not so good”
Reviewed October 25, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

A house in Meursault with a well equipped kitchen, large bedrooms with sitting areas, satellite TV, well located for touring the Burgundy area, within walking distance to tasting rooms. Comfortable beds, reasonably quiet (adjacent to road through town). However, when we entered the house there was a strong musty smell of mold coming from the cellar - the lounge there was unusable and the smell carried throughout the house. Closing the door helped, but the odor lasted for the 3 days we were there. The toilet for the first floor bedroom was on the ground floor, next to the kitchen and the tub/"shower" was down a half flight of stairs from the sleeping level - very inconvenient. The tub/"shower" in each room was small and the shower curtains made it very difficult to use the hand wand. The patio area was next to a shared alley for parking and access to neighboring properties, not private.

“nice, charming and well resourced”
Reviewed November 1, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

We had a very nice stay in "Le Relais de Meursault" right in the middle of the little village. Nice restaurants and wine tasting very nearby. We enjoyed the old house and we appreciated the equipment in the kitchen and the cosy ambiance.

“Lovely”

This property, five minutes' walk from the historical center of Meursault is clearly a labor of love by its owner, Frederique. In terms of cleanliness (it was immaculate) and quality, this home rivals some of the nicest and most exclusive properties I have visited over many years of travel. The well-equipped and thoughtfully organized kitchen was a pleasure in which to cook. There were a full-size washer and the only dryer we saw in any of the five properties we visited during our stay in France. The bedrooms were private, large and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. The only drawback for some travelers might be the French custom of locating the toilet separate from the bath. For occupants of the first floor bedroom, this meant a trip downstairs to use the toilet.
Frederique speaks English well and was responsive to our questions during the lead-up to our visit and during our quite delightful stay. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful charming Meursault home”

We loved this charming home in the heart of Meursault. It was clean, comfortable and had all the modern amenities. Good kitchen for cooking and meals, and spacious bedrooms and baths. The location was great for walking or hiking the hillside trails, and a short drive to historic Beaune for its restaurants and excellent Saturday market. I can't wait to return!
