What a great campsite, we were in a Motorhome, and the pitches are a good size and private on three sides, the site has tents as well and cabin. The. Whole place is very professionally run, all the amenities are spotless at any time of the day hot water all the time, for us the aire service area for the Motorhome was also great. The site caters for the whole family with excellent areas for the children to play yet far enough away from us not to be a nuisance with noise etc, the shop I sweep catered and the owners (English) are extremely helpful and nice. The beach (and what a beach) is only a stroll away no more than 300 mets from the camp site and is breathtaking and beautiful. All in all fantastic, and we will be back again for sure.

“Great Site - Professionally Run, Relaxed Atomosphere, Superb for Families”

We have stayed at Camping Pors Peron several times before, always in one of their static caravans which are clean and comfortable with well kitted out kitchens. Each time we have visited, the camp site has been busy with tents, camper vans, caravans and motor homes and the atmosphere has always been friendly, relaxed, family orientated camping fun!

It is the perfect base from which to explore this region of Brittany and we are still finding new places to visit and explore.

There is a beautiful sandy cove a couple of minutes walk down the quiet lane from the camp site. It is great for body boarding when the waves get up but we have also been down when it is quite calm and perfect for swimming. Lots of rock pools to explore too.

There is a small shop at reception stocked with basic essentials and you can order baguettes and pastries for breakfast - a perfect start to the day! The children's play park is very popular and well kitted out with trampolines, swings and table tennis. The site is attractively landscaped and well maintained.

Graham and Nikki are lovely, friendly people, very helpful on site and very knowledgeable about their local area. We have enjoyed every single visit and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

“Pors Peron was our oasis”

Nikki & Graham were superstars!
After travelling on the busiest Saturday of the year in France, we were relieved that our expactations of the site, static and location were surpassed.
The cleanliness of the site was impressive. The 2 bed static we stayed in was perfect for our family of 4.The beach was really close and beautiful, they call it the secret beach. The surrounding towns and villages were picturesque and worth a visit, our only regret was not stopping longer!
We would definately recommend Pors Peron campsite - and on a personal note, Nikki and Graham made the whole experience with their personal touch and attention to detail an all round fantastic holiday.

We as a family would reccommend to stay at Pors Peron

“Beautiful Sea, relaxing time”

We (Me, partner and teenage daughter) hired a cabin at "Camping Pors Peron" for a week. From the outset the people running the site, Graham and Nikki were helpful, letting us book from Tuesday to Tuesday. They are British and this made communicating easier.

We arrived at the cabin to find it well equipped, very clean and on a quiet, well organised campsite.
The cabin had a good shower, the kitchen had all the basics and the beds were comfortable

There were also people staying in cavarans, motor caravans and tents staying on the site. There was a shop with some simple groceries in it and deliveries every morning of fresh bread and pastries.

The site is maybe 200 metres from the sea. There is no sea view but access to the beach was a short walk down a very quiet lane. The beach itself had golden sand on it and during the week in July it was not busy. Often we would be the only people on it during the week. At the weekend it was rammed with locals!

We went for lots of walks, there are many of places to walk including the coastal path which ran across the nearby beach. We are interested in old churches and archaeological sites (yes the teenager too!) and there are many of these within a short drive. The nearest town, Pont-Croix, as well as having many interesting medieval features also had a Super-U supermarket which made it easy to get self catering supplies.

The campsite I would describe as quiet and calm rather than lively and exciting. The only activity was a visit of a crape van on the Saturday night.

We were blessed with good weather and this plus the excellent place to stay made it a 10 out of 10 holiday

“Clean comfy mobile home in a great location”

Stayed at Pors Peron for a fortnight in a 2 bed mobile home at the beginning of July. Spotless and well equipped home with creature comforts like UK Freeview and free Wi-fi for the iPads and pods. Beautiful sandy beach a short distance away popular with locals at the week-ends and almost deserted during the week. The site was very quiet (no bar/entertainment which is perfect for us but not everyone) save for a family of slightly pesky Germans opposite - although even they shut up at 11pm. Our 7yo daughter loved the freedom of being able to buy our daily bread and scoot around the site on her bicycle on her own, in complete safety.

Graham and Nikki, who run the site are absolutely lovely and their kids are great too! Very family orientated place to. E. the only very, very slight downside is that the caravans are in front of the loo, kitchen and shower blocks (through necessity for the plumbing) and the sounds from these areas travels to the caravans. This was the only thing which stopped. E from giving an 'excellent' review, and I am really, really, really picky about noise.

But Graham and Nikki are so nice you shoud ignore this and go anyway! You won't be disappointed . It's worth it for the free Wi-fi alone!

“Exceeded our expectations”

We stayed at Pors Peron in early April. We had never stayed in a static caravan before so were slightly nervous at what we would find but very pleasantly surprised when we saw our cabin. It was spotlessly clean, very new, very calm, minimalist interior (grey and dark wood) and really well designed. The kitchen had everything we needed even a cheese grater!
Graham and Nicky were very helpful.
We had our 3 kids aged 20,16 and 10. There was a playground for the younger one and internet for the rest of us. It never felt crowded as anyone who wanted to could go and sit in their room.
A pristine beach is 5 minutes walk.
We had torrential rain but the cabin felt very cosy as we heard it pouring down outside. I would certainly go again.
