We absolutely loved Cyprus Villages! If you are hiring a car and want the real Cyprus experience then I totally recommend it. We arrived late and were taken care of as soon as we walked through the doors, the villas were full of character and walking around the village chatting to the friendly locals was amazing. Could not speak more highly of Paul he was so friendly, helpful and full of knowledge. Big thumbs up!

For the last four years, since we 'discovered' the Cyprus Villages in Tochni, we have no headache where should we spend our summer vacations. It is like coming back home for us, my wife, my son and me. When we came for the first time my daughter was only seven months old, and now when she is almost four, for her and her older brother who is eight, Tochni is absolutely their second home - they know everything and everybody, they roam freely through the village and everybody know them. It is for sure the ideal place for vacation and relaxation, but in the same time it offers many possibilities for a very active holyday. From the moment we enter into our "small house", one of the beautiful and beautifully renovated traditional Cypriot houses, all the worries of our hectic lives disappear, which is really amazing and priceless. The view, the nature, the palm tree beneath our balcony and the smell of land cures the bad mood instantly, and not only - last year both my son and I came seek to Tochni and after two days we were back on our feet spending the rest three weeks swiming and enjoying the sun, the food and everything Cyprus can offer. There is also something special you get in Tochni, which you wouldn't find somewhere else - from the first day when you meet the "boss" Sofronis, and the girls working in Cyprus Villages, Angela, Marianna and all the others, you don't feel like you are just a tourist, you feel like you are among the friends. And that is something very rare and really pricelles. In a way, we are planning all our year around our summer vacation in Tochni, eager to come back to "our village" and counting months and days till our return to Tochni

We recently got married in Cyprus and rather than decend on a typical resort hotel we plumped for a tiny village nestled at the base of the mountains called Tochni. The accommodation is made up of appartments and villa's renovated from original village cottages and truly deliver an authentic feel of village life. Each villa seems unique which is a refreshing change form the 'cookie-cutter' interior design and service so often provided by the corporates. We really felt we had got away away from it all. The onsite Tavern offers a delicious and reasonably priced menu and will make any party who planned to go fully self catering think again. We loved it so much that we decided to have our wedding reception there and the owners were so thoughful and set us a special table outside with flowers and well the food was just something else. A special memory created for us. The owners and staff are genuinely friendly and are like having great neighbours around - unintrusive but happy to do anything to help when asked. The bonus is that whilst you get the benefits of a sleepy village you are well placed to explore the rest of the island and only 35 minutes from the Airpot. We feel we have stumbled upon a real gem and plan to spend our anniversary there.

Room Tip: As each villa seems unique if a large balcony or space or storage is important to you it might be wo...

I had a wonderful experience whilst staying in one of Cyprus Villages' apartments in the beautiful and peaceful hill-top village of Tochni. I booked the Yoga and Meditation package that they offered on their website, which included accommodation, breakfast and evening meal each day and ten sessions of yoga and meditation spaced over the week. The office staff responded to my booking inquiry quickly and were very helpful when replying to the questions I had prior to my visit.
When I arrived everyone made me feel very welcome, the owner even took the time throughout the week to check that I was enjoying my stay which made me feel very looked after. My apartment was clean and comfortable, it had a double bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a lovely little balcony that boasted views of the whole village of Tochni. I was located very close to the small-medium sized pool and Taverna which was ideal for me however they have apartments and cottages located all over the village.
The food I enjoyed in Cyprus Villages' Taverna was all delicious and they offered a good variety of meat, fish and vegetarian options. The waiters were all very attentive and friendly.
Tochni itself has everything you need if you are looking for a very peaceful and relaxing holiday, including a small supermarket/post office with a charming owner, a bank, a restaurant (separate to Cyprus Villages' Taverna) and a souvenir shop. If however you are looking to explore the island, then Tochni is a great base for doing so. Hiring a car for the week through Cyprus Villages was very easy and I would recommend you do so if you are planning to travel around as there are very few buses in and out of the village.
I was recommended all the best places to visit by the owner's 'right hand man' , including an idyllic, secluded beach that I am not going to disclose the name of!
All in all, a lovely place to stay!

Room Tip: If you want to be located near the main pool and Taverna you should mention this upon booking.

My wife and me did a round trip in Cyprus. The first accommodation was in Tochni Village. We liked it so much that we decided to spend our last two days there again.
The people are friendly, the food excellent and the house wine delicious. From our room we had a nice view to the old village.
Cyprus village is working together with Drapia Farm. It was nice to see in how good conditions the horses are. Marisa is the owner and a real horse whisperer. The two hours riding tours are fantastic and a fun for all participants.
If you want to relax and enjoy nature and the traditional Cyprus, Tochni is the place to be.

Travelled to Cyprus over Easter holidays with husband and teenage daughter for horse riding holiday at Drapia Farm. Tochi is a beautiful, traditional and peaceful village - great place to stay particularly for a couple (maybe teenage daughter needed a bit more to keep occupied!). Riding at Drapia Farm was great - hacking out 2/3 hrs a day in stunning countryside on well-cared for and well-paced horses. We were on a half board package. Breakfasts were fine - lots of choice. Dinner - starters were fresh and tasty. Main courses - veg and meat always seemed to be dry or over-cooked with very little taste. Desert - always just a piece of fruit which after the 3rd day (we were there a week)gets a bit boring. However, staff at Cyprus Villages and in the village shop, local cafe were all friendly and helpful. Tip - don't go for a ground floor apartment - you hear every footstep etc from above. Might have helped if cleaners didn't clean the apartment above ours at 8am so loudly - not the best when on holiday and trying to get a lie-in!
