“Best Beef of Flanders”
Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

Our 2nd visit and it's still very good.
My girlfriend had the chicken and I also tasted it. Very juicy and tasteful chicken at an unbeatable price of €12.
I had the Angus Irish Beef- they only serve it Bleu or Saignant 'cause they don't wanna f** it up- and it was really good!
Tip: Go for the potatoes in stead of the fries, they are served in a warm bowl and with some garlic butter they taste amazing.
Including house wine, it was €52 for the both. Pretty good price, considering the quality.
Service is good and fast. They are very busy but always come with a smile.

“Good food but room for improvement on the service”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

It was our 2nd visit because we really enjoyed it the first time. We went for the T bone which is indeed of superb quality. We reserved a table which wasn't ready on the time of reservation but no problem as you can enjoy a drink in a calm bar besides the restaurant, so no problem at all. The restaurant has a tendency of being very crowded and noisy because of the lack of space and its success on weekends. This was accentuated by the fact that we had a table in the middle of the restaurant, flanked by numerous candles which gave it a very romantic atmosphere , but my chair was constantly bumped which was quite annoying and in the end very unpleasant. Staff is at times very attending but a smile or even a small off standard attention in words doesn't really cost anything at all, but it is very worthwile receiving and part of a personal atmosphere and care which we missed totally and which we encountered in other restaurants that you keep on visiting for that very reason.

“The best T-bone in Belgium”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

The specialty here, from what we saw on the menu and tasted, is the beef. I went with my partner and she had a tasty spaghetti carbonara (very good portion), with good isze chunks of bacon and the traditional raw egg in the middle. I had the Irish Angus T-bone (cooked "a point"), which was simply spectacular. It was suculent, juicy and cooked to perfection. In my opinion, the best T-bone in Belgium and one of the best (if not THE best) pieces o meat I've had in Europe. The service was also very attentive, always with a smile and prompt, something that is sadly not the norm in Belgium, so this was a very pleasant addition to an excellent meal. They also have a good wine selection and fair prices. Oh, two other things that we loved: they accept dogs and they open on Sundays!
