We recently stayed in a hotel on the Markt in De Panne. The weather took a turn for the worse in the evening, so we did not want to walk to the main stretch where the most raved about restaurants are and, instead wandered across the square to 'T Zeiltje. So glad we did! The menu is Italian (pizzas, pasta - which looked delicious) plus some Belgian bistro favourites. The decor was a bit plain and ambiance a bit lacking, but service and food were excellent. My husband's rib steak was cooked to perfection and the roquefort sauce was lovely, one of the best steaks had in a long time. My scampi diablo was also delicious. We finished with an Irish coffee and Calvados pousse-cafe which contained very generous measures of alcohol! Overall, excellent quality for the price. Wouldn't hesitate to eat there again.
