We booked for a romantic dinner a table at the "Maison Communale" in Céroux. It's a 30 minutes drive from Brussels, and the village of Céroux is picturesque.
The restaurant seems to be located in an unusual building: the former town hall of the village, which happens to be on the main square of the place. We walked in and were greeted by the staff, who seem to be the children of the owners - the whole place has this atmosphere of authenticity and family-run business.
The menu offers good Belgian and French cuisine. We ordered meat dishes that were tasty, and the wine suggested by the waiter proved a very good choice.
Budget was reasonable (25 to 30 Euro per person).
