My wife and I stayed here on the night of April 27, 2014, primarily to be near the airport for our flight back home. Traveling by taxi, we were a little concerned as we approached this lodging. The neighborhood wasn't the type of place one would choose to amble about. To put it simply, it was seedy. The best thing that happened is that we were upgraded at no charge from the poor, seedy cousin hotel to the much nicer of the pair, probably because there were virtually no other guests.
The room was comfortable and surprisingly adequate for this neighborhood. We chose to eat there since walking in the vicinity was out of the question. The meal was fine and expensive.
The room was quite adequate for our needs, although it was far from plush. We would not have chosen to stay here if we had to pay the full price.
Gladly, the desk arranged transport to the airport in the morning, about 3-4 kilometers away. That cost was much too high, but expected.
Would we stay here again? I don't think so. In our nearly one-month travels around Austria, this was by far the seediest neighborhood we experienced, reminding us all too much of parts of American cities. If you're traveling by car, I wouldn't park it in the hotel lot.
