We went to Austria December 21st 2013 for 4days we went with shearing coaches, We travelled in rain and windy to have 3hr delay because of the weather the hotel was good comfortable and warm beds not bad but pillows all feathers which was to soft for me as I have asthma rooms basic food not to bad the waitress we had was brilliant her name was Patricia, she worked very hard our drivers were excellent Ian and Peter but Ian was the one with all the knowledge of the areas and spoke the language All in all we had a great time met a lot of lovely people.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor a small lift but the room was large and we looked on to the street the on...

We stayed for 1 night while on a Leger coach trip round the Balkans.

This is what I would call a typical Austrian hotel, family run, with a small lift. We were given a nice, clean twin, with a very small toilet and a separate bathroom. The only down side to the bathroom and toilet was that the ventilation fan was rather noisy, and as usual continued for a few minutes after the light was switched off.

The room had 2 chairs and a settee, but only 1 glass in the bedroom (though 2 in the bathroom). Electrical sockets were provided. There was no air conditioning, but none was needed. Extra pillows weren't in the room, but reception quickly sent them up. The beds were nice and comfortable.

The food was excellent. The dinner was the best that we'd had on the tour, and the usual continental breakfast was wide ranging. We'd eat here again any time. The staff were very helpful and friendly, as you might expect in a family-run hotel.

Oh, and parking is available (a lot of it) at the back of the hotel.

All in all, an excellent hotel.

We spent 4 nights over the Christmas holiday with a Newmarket coach holiday.
It is a lovely, friendly family run hotel. Food, service was excellent and every was spotlessly clean.

We are inclined to go back this summer, flying to Salzburg nad renting a car to explore the Salzkammergut, the Austrian "lake district". We shall see.

had 1st christmas away on an lakes coach tour and because of the hotel owner and his family and staff they made it a lovely experience. The hotel gave you a good feeling as you walked in the building . it was very clean and the bedrooms although not 4* were warm and comfortable with great duvets. good food and plenty of it. Service was 5*. Would highly recommend it as good value for money stay if visiting the lakes.

Pros:
- Good service.
- Clean.
- Good family atmosphere.
- Quiet.
- English-speaking stuff.
- Parking.

Cons:
- 4 km from the lake.
- Limited Internet access and WiFi coverage.

We have stayed there with friends for 3 nights in July 2011. Looks like hotel rooms has been renovated a long time ago, but kept clean. Furniture is also aged but feels solid because of it's good quality. Rooms are quiet and have separate WC and bathroom, which is good. Windows are new and soundproof. Rooms and hallways feels like home.

Breakfast is not the best hotel breakfast which I ever seen, but it's definitely not the worst one - it's acceptable: 2-3 choices of sausage, 2-3 of cheese, bread, butter, cereals and milk, orange juice, tee and coffee. And very tasty blackberry jam :)

We also had one dinner at the hotel restaurant - the food and service was great.

Internet access in the hotel is not as good as a restaurant: wifi signal is limited only to small lobby area on ground floor and in order to use it you need to ask for time-limited temporary login and password at the reception. And after that you will have really slow useless internet connection, like old dial-up. But it's free for guests.

Parking is available at the hotel's backyard - it's big and free - no problems at all.

So, if you traveling by car and want to see Austrian lakes around Attersee and looking for good and not expensive hotel - this is good choice.
