Cafe Lewandofsky is situated in the center of Bad Aussee and it it is the place you shouldn't miss especially if you are sweet tooth like I am.
When we came to Bad Aussee for traditional Narzissen Fest Parade that took place on the 2nd of June 2013 , it was very cold and rainy. The temperature of +11 C and heavy rain forced us to move quickly and find nice place to sit and drink cup of tea with a cake. Cafe Lewandofsky was on our way and we dropped in. The place was full as it is a famous place among natives as well as tourists especially on Narzissen Fest Parade. They had even special menu on that day.
The great selection of different cakes and strudels of different kinds prevented us from deciding at once. Everyone will find something to his taste: with berries, strawberry, nuts, chocolate. I wish I could try every piece. The staff was very pleasant trying to help. At last we have chosen KIRSCHEN TORTE ( with cherry) and TRUFFLE TORTE ( with chocolate) and took a seat. Piece of cake costs EURO 3.10 and twenty cents you'll pay for eating indoors and sitting in a cosy atmosphere. The cake was soft and not too sweet. I liked it very much. On a rainy day tea with a cake works miracles. We didn't regret about staying there and I recommend this place to everyone who will come to a small town of Bad Ayssee in Austria.
