How often do we find a gem of a hotel? Well, this is one. We were treated to a fine display as to the way to run an hotel for the guests. Staff were just amazingly friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble - and they were obviously happy in their work.
The Chef and his staff get full marks for variation, presentation and quality. Something to satisfy all international visitors. Hotel location is amazing - just 5 minutes from the ski slopes and 5 minutes from the lake. (The golf is 5 minutes walk too - but not in February !!!). The spa has everthing you may need including 3 saunas set at different temperatures even. You won't go far wrong with this one unless you are looking for a high life and apres ski parties! Web site has good photos.

My no good English will not allow to describe my enthusiastic impressions of this place. Excellent service, clean, light & big rooms. The half board was very tasty and various.
Never thought that the Austrian cuisine can be so delicious. There is all necessary things for activ sport and further rest In hotel. Very charming town Pertisau.
Beautiful mountains, excellent for skiing. My daughter 6 years old travelled with us, she was engaged in children's sports club. Very thanks to trainers who helped her in spite of language misunderstanding:)

This family hotel, set in stunningly beautiful Pertisau, hopefully, is the future for holidays in the Tyrol. Staff are friendly, helpful, informative and obviously well trained. The interior of the hotel is a combination of Tyrolean style in the restaurant and a chic-yet-comely bar area with a cosy fireplace and sumptuous dark leather furniture. All with stunning views.

The rooms are comfortable without being fussy ( we looked at 4) and luxurious without heaping it on. All the room facilties are to a high standard and our stay ( 6 nights) was faultlessly comfortable.

The restaurant offers a combination of choices that are all prepared to a high standard. There were hot and cold buffet choices along with a menu of speciality dishes prepared by their chef, who is Danish and obviously talented.

The buffet(s) were well prepared, varied everyday and delicious. This was leading us to sumptuos feasts, especially if combined with the menu a la carte and the excellent wine choices from their list.

Adding to all this hedonistic pleasure was a delightful spa. This had obviously been given a lot of thought and it works superbly well, combining numerous body-stimulating experiences that add considerably more to the pleasure of staying. The swimming pool is perhaps 20 metres long and just right for an afternoons relaxing swim. It has a warm seating area beside it and for summer months, a small veranda with impressive views.

Der Wiesenhof, we felt, gaves us solid value for money. I shall go again, it was very good.

The service was great (my wife thought they confounded me with a president), the food correct and the decoration nice. They think a lot about children. They proposed only half board but it is the same as a full board. We just did not like the mattress, too soft.

I recommand also to avoid full season for people looking for calm as it may be too noisy.

Pertisau is nice for cross country skiing, walking, skating. The scenery is great (lake + forest) . Alpin ski requires a car to reach proper areas.
