Stayed one week to Lima Bella... Not the greatest resort of all times, but ok. Don't expect a hi-so 5 stars, there is one, it's Paradee resort and it's at least 3-4 times the price.
The staff (Burmese yes, but who cares? (saw another comment about that)) was absolutely lovely and extremely warm, nice and helpful. The restaurant food was nice, Thai food validated by my Thai girlfriend and myself.
There is a short walk to the beach, no deal-breaker, 7/11 not far, but it's true the road could be a bit more "flip-flop friendy" :-)
Swimming pool is great, pool bar is close, very good.
Rooms were quite small, aircon working well (but device a bit broken, swing feature making lots of noise), bathroom was ok, bed a tad firm as it was a mattress on a wood board...
Would I go back? eating there sure, sleeping there why not, simply not for an extended stay.
All in all, was a very nice week and I got relaxed at Lima Bella ;-)
I recommend the rental of a motorbike or ATV (better) to try to reach the deep south of the island... during the rain season roads tend to get really bad (uneven), so be careful but it is great fun.
