“nice location”

Just next to the beach. The bar in hotel is nice. Food and atmosphere make you feel relax. one thing is not good, facilities in the room are a little bit out of order.

Stayed in the old part (building 2). The room was very OLD and everything was worn down. The king size bed was very hard = bad nights sleep. They had sprayed the whole room with air perfume which smelled really bad when we arrived. Probably to hide the smell from smoke. No flat TV. Only an old one that had bad picture. The staff was not friendly and didn't give a single smile during our whole stay. The only good thing was the location and the breakfast that was good. There are better hotels near by that only cost 1500-2000 baht/night. We will never stay here again. Expensive and bad value for your money - avoid.

I'd say I have a nice time there, therefore the resort is right next to the beautiful beach. But my room was full of mosquito even I tried to close every door holes. I paid 6200 Baht for 2 nights I expected more than that (I saw another resorts around that area which is look nicer and it cost about the same price), There was nothing special in the room. The breakfast was perfect though!
PS. Sometime I feel uncomfortable, being starring by the staff.. They are everywhere around the resort.. standing 4-5 persons, seem bored and starring at the customer. I think there is too many staff there or there is no staff managing!

Room Tip: My normal, plain cheapest room is the most far away from the beach and full of mosquito.

My friend and i booked twin bedroom. But upon checking in front desk lady said none of deluxe rooms are twin rooms. So we took one double bed. Building looks new. But room was a strange shape. When you walk into the room there is a shower and toilet. (No closet, hanger for towel etc) then tiny bedroom located on top of shower. Again..no storage for suitcase etc..two people barely pass thru the room.

I understand jan is high season...but paying 150usd to get this kind of weird room?

Lunch there was good. Fish, curry, noodle everything was delicious and not overpriced. Better than any other places on koh samet.

There is a famous finale bar on the beach. I was worried about bar noise at night. But i didnt hear anything fron bar.
However room wall was so thin. I could hear what language next room speak...bothered me a lot.

Location fantastic !

We have visited this Hotel many times with friends & alone, We select this hotel as they allow us to take our Family pet. the rooms are very clean the Garden rooms not so keen on, We prefer the cottages which are Thai style wooden chalets of a very high standard with very nice area to sit and relax outside your cottage.

the breakfast are excellent western style & Thai with eggs served on request which there is nothing worse than cold eggs for breakfast.
the location is right on the beach reasonable bar prices

This resort are easy to be located from the shoreline due to its attractive outdoor bar "Finale". Check-in was quick and easy. Stayed in the "Thai House Cottage" T3 that is facing the beach. The room has all the basic necessities with 2 pair of slippers provided for guest. The room will get very dirty after we are back from the beach. I would suggest the resort to prepare pail of water for guest to wash away the sand, instead of having to walk to the toilet near the reception to wash the feet. The lock for the my room wasn't working fine too. Had to push it in by force.

Breakfast has limited choice too. I tried the omelette and it wasn't good. It is oily and has a pungent corn smell which was too much for my taking. Other than that, everything is acceptable.

When you walk alone the beach, you will notice many other resorts too. Feel free to consider them as well.

we got to the ferry with heavy luggage and thought it would be nice to get a speed boat to our hotel .After we were forced to wade ashore with some difficuly (there is no pier) we found we had been put ashore at the wrong end of the beach a expensive rip off don't bother. .Arriving at the hotel it was not much more than a building site the rooms were small and grubby No way could we stay there we then looked around at a few other hotels which were also not much better and then got back on the ferry to the mainland wthin the hour .This hotel i had been prepaid for at a local travel agent who on seeiing the photos of this dump refunded our money which is hardly heard of in thailand . What a start to a holiday thankfully it got better but at one stage we considered flying straight back to the uk after being in thailand for 3 days we had been to hell
