My wife and I finished our tour of Thailand by spending 4 days on the island of Koh Samet. We chose the Paradee as it looked as if we would be pampered. We were not disappointed. The rooms are in fact small independent buildings with their own plunge pool and garden area. The room and living area was superb with outstanding facilities. Set on a fabulous private beach and with a good swimming pool there are two bars, one on east side of the narrow island and one a couple of minutes walk on the west side called the sunset bar for obvious reasons! Food and wine were excellent and the staff incredible attentive. Free afternoon tea and ice cream was a nice touch. Also had a really good fitness room and free wifi in all areas. Interesting trips in the evening (once by 4 wheel drive taxi - and its needed! - and once by speed boat - very expensive but fun) to the north of the island to the small town and beach where there was great night life and cheap tasty food. Met some brilliant people at the hotel and had a great time.

Really welcoming place. Very intimate and suited for couples although families are here too. Great place to unwind. Food is good and varied from local to western dishes.
Pool and beach are in easy reach of each villa, plus private pools are also available . 2 aspects to the resort for sunrise and sunset. Excellent place to stay!

This is the perfect place to go if you want absolute peace and quiet in idyllic surroundings. Fabulous beach, lovely Villas and very friendly staff. Don't go here if you want nightlife-there is none. A quiet Sunset Bar is the only evening option. The one restaurant can limit choice if you are there for more than a few days but food quality is good and they are happy to accommodate unusual dietary requirements. If you want to wind down and relax away from hustle and bustle, this is the place to go.
