Bellhouse
Ranked #15 of 61 Ko Samet B&B and Inns
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Basic room and clean with attached bathroom. Mini fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, small flat screen TV, double bed, no wardrobe, just hooks to hang clothes/towel.
If you are looking for a basic clean room for a shower and a rest, Bellhouse would be the choice. But if you are looking for a more upmarket accommodation/place, this is def not the place for you. its a 2 minute walk on a dirt path to the beach. Which you can overlook because once you hit the beach, it makes up for the uneven route and unkept surroundings. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels are replaced. Feels like Bellhouse is in a little village with other small little bungalows and rooms surrounding the area. The surrounding area is abit unkept and untidy, with a bit of clean-up and spurcing up, the area should/would look much better.
When i arrived at the little reception area, nobody was around to attend to me, despite ringing the bell. But upon searching the reception counter, i noticed my name attached to a room key with the Room Number, which i helped myself to and located it by myself and let myself in the room. Very laid back place, ideal for budget travellers or long term stayers.
No breakfast or food is served here which is not a problem. The 2 minute walk to the beach and you are greeted with array of restaurants and bars. Food is not a problem at this beach, lots of food & fruit vendors walk up and down the beach selling their wares but they do not intrude and never pester anyone.

Ao Wongduan beach is a more laidback beach as compared to Diamond Head or the other crowded beaches. Spent most of my days at LaLuna Bar, i rented a deck-chair and spent the whole day relaxing wt a drink at this place. LaLuna is owned by a Thai couple, Kay & Thon. In the evenings, all the other restaurants lay out their beach bed with comfy Thai cushions for seafood bbq dinners and watch the sun go down. I like this beach for its quiet and laidback feel. Total relaxation here but if you are looking for a more active nightlife, this is def not the place.
There are two beachhuts for massages and it only cost THB300 for an hour of massage. There is a little postbox to send out postcards at Vongduen Villa attached to a little cute store....buy postcard & stamps and send it out immediately. How convenient!
I had breakfast at Vongduan Resort right at the end of the cove right on the water's edge, excellent place for breakfast and soaking in the quiet time relaxing on their day beds.
