I am so lucky to choose this resort for my frist trip in Koh Samed last year,
and sure that i will be there again next trip soon. I like their bungalow, it make me
feel like staying in little house. I will never forget for all helps from resort's staff,
they help me for my refund after change room type, and keep my forgotten bang
at night until the morning, thank you very much again Samed Villa. see u soon.

this place is really nice ... although bungalows decoration a bit outdated, food in the evening on the beach is just perfect, staff everywhere is smiling and helpful, the only negative point is wifi quality ...

Room Tip: I was in room A14beach view but just over the hotel night bar ... some Young people stay ther quite...

Stayed here for 2 nights in the family garden facing bungalows. Everything was great about the stay.
The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, the rooms were comfortable(with lots of screen doors to keep the mosquitos out, the restaurant food was delicious and the thai massage at the Lotus massage place was excellent !! -
Also, the lovely experience at Samed Villa came at a steal deal price !
I highly recommend this place to everyone travelling to Ko Samet

Room Tip: Try and book early to get a sea facing room

Stayed more than 5 nights in a well equipped, comfortable bungalow with aircon, wigi, mosquito killer, good mattresses, quiet fan, hot water, freezer, flat-screen and international program. It was an awesome surrounding with excellent staff, which i have not seen in the last six month of traveling through southeast Asia. Price included the breakfast buffet with fresh and good food though a bit more variety of typical breakfast items would have been nice. The eggman made perfect fresh eggs but noodles for breakfast isn't everybodies favorite. The set up for the dinner at the beach including fresh bbq was breathtaking and fulfilled everyone's whishes. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come again.

We really enjoyed staying here. We had a Family Sea View bungalow with connecting doors.

The rooms are well equipped, far more than we had anticipated from this perfect little island.

The rooms had very comfortable beds, flat screen TV's, a well stocked mini bar, air con, mosquito screens to all doors and windows, plenty of storage. The bathrooms had showers (the water pressure wasn't great) complimentary toiletries, well designed.

The bungalows are set in a well maintained garden which gave you a feel of being on a desert island, but with all modern luxuries.

The hotel restaurant was also very nice with excellent food and breakfast. The beach was very nice, rocky in places, with Silver Sands and Tub Tim beaches both within a 3-4 minute walk.

There are some comments on here about the parties at Silver Sands, but we never noticed any noise other than the waves.

Well done Samed Villa, will definitely be back!

Very impressed with standard of service. European run hotel and it really shows in it's detail to the service and quality of hotel rooms, dining areas (particularly dinner in the evening at tables set out on the beach}. Outstanding feature is definitely the staff. Everyone (whatever level of service they were giving) were not only highly trained, but more importantly were the most friendly staff I have met in any hotel I have stayed. They particularly made the stay at the hotel probably the main reason for us booking a further week whilst we were there. The attention to detail - (the chef who prepared the egg dishes in the dining room for breakfast, soon realised the omelette my son had everyday and prepared it and brought it to the table without him having to order it). Also they soon realised I had a one shot latte and my son had a two shot latte without us even ordering it. Important note - the only place on Koh Samet that knew how to prepare a latte. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: We had a family bungalow with 2 bedrooms, 2 outer doors and 2 bathrooms and also a junior family bun...

After staying at the Silver Sand (reviewed earlier), Samed Villa was more to my liking. I stayed at a beach front bungalow, with view of the beach and sea for about the same price as the Silver Sand. The beach front room was value for money and the service was good. Ta, the young lady at the front desk reception was exceptional in taking care of me, allowing me to look at the different beach front rooms. Room A10 was a perfect location but as they were constructing a new bungalow behind A10, I decided to be away from the noice and chose A3, closer to the front desk and restaurant. Outside the room were 2 deck chairs if you choose not to be on the beach and in the sun and away from the Thai massage ladies on the beach constantly selling their massage on the beach service. The stay included breakfast which was adequate. For dinner there was the choice of usual BBQ on the beach, priced the same as the other restaurants in Koh Samet. The staff was friendly and do their best to keep guests happy. I rented a kayak (80 baht for 2 hours for guests) compared to 100-200 baht elsewhere on the island. I had the unfortunate experience of hurting my back from the kayaking outing and had to stay extend my stay to nurse my injury. But hey, if I had to rest and stay in bed, I might as well stay on a beach front property. Overall, the staff was attentive and caring to my needs and I would come back to this resort.

Jon

Room Tip: A7 to A10 beach front are more private and away from the restaurant
