The staff was happy to provide us free transport to and from the guesthouse, which made our arrival into pak chong simple. We were shown to a spotless, but very basic room with a fan, nice bathroom and comfortable western bed. be forewarned - no hot water. It wasn't a big issue for us as we only stayed two nights. All in all, our stay at Greenleaf was a wonderful experience. The tours were great and the food at their restaurant was amazing. Best of all, it was all so inexpensive. 40-50baht per dish at the restaurant and 200-300 baht per night in a nice room with private bathroom. It was an incredible value and we'd definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for one night in August, and did the day and a half jungle tour.

The accommodation is quite basic but very cheap and clean. We were picked up from the train station by the owner. The half day tour wasn't as good as the full day, but still worth doing if you have the time. We really loved the full day tour in the actual park, lunch was great etc. Only problem was that it got quite cold towards the end of the day when searching for elephants (we didn't see any!)

Also, we had a real rush to get the last coach back to Bangkok after the full day tour - it is manageable, but maybe consider staying an extra night if you can to avoid the rush!

I stayed here for two nights and joined a one-day tour in the nearby Khao Yai park. The rooms are basic but clean with cold water only, but what can you expect for 200 Baht. Although next to a busy road, I had a good night's sleep, since the traffic tapers off after 6 pm.
The food is good for a decent price. The manager (Lek ?) speaks very good English and is of great help. The guesthouse is located 8 km out of Pak Chong, but getting there is easy: grab the public songthaew in the direction of the park entrance and tell them to stop at Greenleaf. The ride back was free, courtesy of Greenleaf, nice gesture.

We have spent 2 nights here (2 adults and our 8-year-old son), we partook in both excursions (half day and full day) and we praised fantastic, friendly and professional approach of the stuff. We have been picked up from the bus in Pak Chong although I called them only from a bus and on the other number than given. The guides have spoken reasonable English, well well prepared to give information about wildlife and were very friendly. The trips were long and there was no hurry to get us back even when it was getting late. The restaurant by the guest house is simple but cooks good meals and the service is prompt. The lack of air-con was the only disadvantage but we were warned in advance and we knew about it. I can wholeheartedly recommend it and my advice is to book it ahead as there are many people charmed with this place :)

Room Tip: houses in garden are better than rooms closer to the street

The rooms at Greenleaf Guesthouse are very basic. So basic, I was surprised to find an outlet with which to charge my camera. However, the rooms are clean and have what you need: bathroom, bed, and a fan. The guesthouse is very isolated, on the side of the road not near much. Across the street is a temple, and if you're lucky, you might be around during a holiday when they blast music at 4am.

However, all this being said, the price can't be beat. And if you take advantage of their tours, the location is good too.
