“Very old and beautiful temple”

Sri Kanakaditya Temple
Reviewed March 25, 2016

The temple is located bit remotely, approx 10-15 kms from Pawas. It is a very old and beautiful temple which is undergoing some renovation currently.
The murals inside temple are just amazing and leave you wondering how did they do it all

Very nice sun temple. The Mandir and its sabhamandap is awesome. One must visit before 12 Noon to take Darshan of God Sun.

There are very few temples dedicated to the Sun-God and this one in Ratnagiri, at Kasheli is truly beautiful. The architecture in wonderful and retains the local charm. There is a fabulous panel of carvings depicting the nav-grahas or the nine planets on the ceiling that are not to be missed. There are a few other temples in the complex which are wonderful too.

Nestled in dense jungle and located in a remote part of Maharashtra, this place is worth visiting. The simple, sweet and peace loving people of Kasheli will make your visit even more beautiful and memorable.
