Nice water fall. But requires long walk through staircase to reach. Staircases are fenced with metal nets on both sides. There was a hanging bridge earlier. Due to landslide, it is currently damaged. Not suitable for elderly as no of staircases are high.

This is a must visit. The approach to the waterfall is a walk down quite a few stairs, hence advisable for those who'd have trouble walking up stairs, to give it a miss. The water falls by quite a force, and is a nice experience

Superb place to enjoy with family, don't forget to take photos from the corner near the security cabin to avoid the crowd and get the best shot.

It is a long fleet of stairs to reach the water fall. It is a tourist spot for people visiting coorg.

Nice place to visit but not recommended during summer.

Bathing is not allowed, but it is a fabulous place to visit once.

For seeing abbey falls you have to climb down plenty of steps which are very tough to climb especially for elders .fall is beautiful but all fenced up so you climb down just to see it.

I went with my family- parents and brother. One needs to walk downhill for 15-20 min through steps. This is a typical tourist place but still worthy of visiting. The fall in itself is beautiful to watch. If you’ve visited (the terrible) Kempti falls in Uttarakhand, it’s not like that. It’s clean and pleasing to the eyes.
Elderly, and unfit persons will be seen stopping regularly while climbing up and down. But for an averagely healthy person the climb shouldn’t be tedious.

Beautiful waterfall. This place was very crowded when we visited.
It has scar of the recent landlslides, the hanging bridge is broken
