I had the most enjoyable experience staying at this wonderful cottage on a working farm.I was able to get involved in feeding the goats and also milking them, which the lovely owner Ceri and her talented daughter Antonia then turn the milk into wonderful cheeses, butter even soap to sell at local farmers markets and food festivals. The cottage itself was very cosy and had amazing views, it sleeps up to 6 people so great for families or even friends who want to experience life on a farm and beautiful walks in a very scenic area. You can choose to cook a full Welsh breakfast which Ceri can supply for you with local produce and award winning sausages which are made on the farm. Nearby Tal Y Bont has 3 pubs to choose from and also a village stores.Ceri provided us with a bbq which we used one evening and sat out enjoying a fabulous view and a great sunset. Coity Bach is dog friendly and the owner has several dogs herself who all give you a great welcome when they see you.A must visit I will be back
Just returned to Peacock cottage for the fourth time. The views of Sugar loaf mountain are amazing. The welcome you receive from Ceri and family and all the animals. To date 4 dogs and 5 cats pigs goats sheep horses and chickens not forgetting the peacocks. There are great walks from the cottage you can hire bicycles. The Brecon Monmouth canal is very close and you can take a trip up it. Talybont village has some excellent pubs what more could you want. Thanks again Ceri see you again soon.
