Just returned after a 4 night stay here. The hotel staff were great, friendly and helpful. The scenery is great. The beach, however, had plenty of seaweed so it wasnt great for swimming. We did hire a car and go to some of the other beaches on the island, some of which were stunning. Rooms were huge, comfortable and clean. Recommened

A Dream - this was our first trip to the Seychelles and Hotel, People & Landscape left nothing to be desired. The Hotel is directly located at Grand Anse, which is already great - it may not one of the finest beaches to swim with a reef far away and quite some seaweed growing in the flat water, but offers in exchange one of the best sunsets in the island and invites to long romantic walks after dinner.

The Hotel itself is just beautiful and it is really fun to return here for the night after trips to bountiful beaches and island trips. The staff is very nice and creates a warm, exotic atmosphere; also the kitchen is very good, with lots of local dishes to offer.

Getting around is very easy, since the Hotel offers a Shuttle in the morning to the Cote d`Or in the north aside from the tours offered by the tour-companies. We recommend to use the frequent local bus (stop just across the street) which takes You for about 1$ everywhere on the island, or You can even hike (about 1-2 hours & hiking sandals strongly recommended) to the other side of the island - and if worst come to worst there are abundant taxis to take You everywhere for 10-15$,

Overall we recommend it very highly for an exotic and romantic vacation.

Just returned from a week here with my wife. The resort is lovely but service from the staff could be better. There is no poolside bar to speak of and you have to go searching for someone to provide you with a drink if it isn't within their strict serving hours. The food was relatively ok for those of you who like your meat complete with the bones on! (There isn't much in the way of outside eating places unless you hire a car so beware if like us, you book bed and breakfast only).

The place is clean and tidy with very nice rooms. Excursions are well organised by the local agencies.
Overall - a bit of a disappointment really.

Three generations of my family (including me) stayed here in March 04. Gorgeous location, intimate and sumptious hotel and friendly people made our time here really special.

This place is great for a honeymoon; there is the biggest shower with two shower heads, romantic four-poster bed and a balcony view to die for. Really a pity I shared it with my grandma for the lost romantic potential..

Other positives though, the hotel is positioned next to a small village with useful amenities and a near perfect bus service and the beach is amazing for lazing around or long rambling walks. Go, go, go, you'll love it.
