Hanmer Springs was sooo busy on the Saturday we arrived they were booked out. The lovely guy at the counter rang another place for us to stay that night, we were shattered after a huge ride of 450Km that day. We dropped our bag off the bike the next day back at top 10 as we were going to CHCH for a day ride. We got back to the most awesome cabin and it had a full oven. We were hanging for a home cooked meal and as we had another night to come we decided to have a Roast on Monday. This accommodation was just the best and I want to thank the cleaning ladies who also were very good to us. Thanks very much again to you all.
Cheers Andrew Fleming and Bronee Stanfield - Whitianga.

After staying in many holiday parks this one especially for a Top 10 (most expensive group of camps we have found) was a great disappointment. It was untidy, grass sites were uneven and some cramped, facilities were few for the number of campers, hence queuing to use toilets. Was an easy walk to town and the maze/mini golf but for a Tourist Orientated town not the best.

We joined Top Ten for our road trip around the South Island and weren't disappointed with any that we stayed at. Hanmer Top Ten is clean and tidy with good service. We stayed in one of the cabins and all good - more like a motel.

They just asked for a donation to breast cancer. We gave $20 and also got to wash the car there. The shower had excellent temperature and pressure. Much appreciated after 2 dusty days camping on the Molesworth road.

We stayed in a cabin with a public bath and shower. We didn't know what to expect but once we adjusted it was fine. We thought it was a motel and not a cabin. They do have rooms with full services but didn't know it. NZ is expensive in general and this was less expensive than the motel rooms. It was fine, service was good and decent location.
