This posada is located in secured part of Margarita - El Yaque beach.
Owned by american man it's cozy and made with taste.
They don't have restaurant but you can always have great breakfast at Shark!

Just right place for team of kite surfers.

This review is long over due, having stayed at Posada Margarita in Feb. and March of 2013. We loved our time there. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet spot, yet only a few minutes walk away from the beaches. Miguel is a wonderful host, can you tell you all what you need to know about the island. His breakfasts are to "die" for. His friend Jeffery picked us up from the airport and got us back there. We took two island tours with him both very enjoyable. The best vacation experience ever !!!!!

Spent 28 days in El Yaque for windsurf holiday. Great place to stay, quiet, just few minutes from beach. Nice garden and atmosphere, hammocks are very nice for chilling. Well, cant wait 2014 to go again. If you wanna great place for your active holiday, Posada Margarita is great choice.

I spent 2 weeks in one of the appartments in Playa El Yaque for my kitesurfing course. It's a couple of minutes away from the beach and it has a beautiful garden with hammocks in front of every room and just everything you need to feel at home.
The appartments are bright and clean, the kitchen has everything you need and the owner knows all about the island!
I'd go back a thousand times...

Posada margarita was great. My husband and I just returned from a 2 week trip to el yaque for windsurfing and relaxation and posada Margarita was an excellent homebase during that time. The posada was clean, safe, and had a beautiful garden and a convenient walk to the beach. In all honesty, I'm very glad that we chose a quaint posada off the beach over one of the hotels on the beach. The rooms were comfortable with nice bathrooms although next time I would spend the extra $10 for the room with the kitchenette (it's slightly more spacious and you have a small kitchen/breakfast bar which would be useful for an extended stay. We would definitely return to el yaque and posada margarita again.

Room Tip: I would go for the room with the kitchenette if it is available and you are staying more than a couple days
