This restaurant is tucked away in a side street off the main drag and is well worth finding. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it is a fun place to sit and people watch. The nachos were great but not the conventional style of a plate full of tortilla chips smothered in toppings - in some ways they were actually like small quesadillas and wonderfully flavorful. The bean and chicken burrito was large, filling and delicious. The food is a great option if you are looking for a change from the ubiquitous "Cebiche" found throughout the town.

The owner is really nice and checks to make sure everyone is happy, even explaining about the different chillis they use. The iced lemonade is lovely. I had a very filling burrito and a delicious brownie for dessert-worth saving room for!

After living in Peru for more than one year, constantly searching for a good Mexican restaurant, I finally found one!!! Peruvinas do not do Mexcian food well..but this little gem is the exception, it was FABULOUS!! The price at first seemd a bit high compared to most Peruvian food s/.22 for the EL Aji burrito, but let me assure you it was worth every cent, the portion was larehg and the taste was perfect!!! The dishes are served with homeade gucamole, black beans and hot sauce..simply scrumpious! We also had the enchildas and were just as impressed. This palce is not to missed and will be on my list of favorite places in Peru!!

Good mexican food, which is not always easy to find in south america outside of big cities...their salsa is delish, and they have a really good happy hour. Prices went up during high season which was kind of disappointing considering there are a lot of people who aren't locals, but also aren't tourists (like me), but I do kind of understand why....Overall a great choice for something different than the usual Lomo Saltado or Chaufa.

I tried to eat here twice. It was difficult to convince staff to serve me as they were busy caring for babies and restocking bar. Service was poor and food disappointing.
We would not go back.
