“Very Nice Beach”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

This is a very nice beach, long considered one of Puerto Rico's best beaches. We went to El Yunque National Forrest in the morning and then to the beach in the afternoon. Waters are calm and clear and the people very friendly. There are bathrooms to change in and outdoor showers to wash off after the ocean. Right outside the beach there is a row of small eating establishments offering all kinds of local cuisine.

“Great time”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We went to the beach a couple of times. Nice, clean, we rented chairs and the food was good too. It only cost $ 4.28 per car to get in and $1 per person to use bathroom and showers.

“Great beach and fun time”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We went on a weekday - Wednesday - got there around 10 am - the place had a few visitors. The water was awesome and it was very very clean. You pay $4.50 to enter and $1 to use the bathrooms, showers and lockers available.

Trust me - you won't want to leave - the breeze is sublime!

“Good beach with services”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

The beach is very nice for kids. Waves are not too big, but not too small either :) The beach has a shop and a bar, and also a shower/toilet house that charge 1 dollar per person per day. So you can wash the sand off very nicely and don't need to wear wet swimsuits under clothes. There's free parking behind the food kiosks and 4 dollars per car per day at the official parking lot.

“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed February 24, 2013 via mobile

This is the second time we visited this beach and it has yet to disappoint.

Prior to arriving to the beach we stopped to for a bite to eat. There is a strip of restaurants east of the beach entrance. There is a variety of restaurants to choose from along with a few gift shops. Great side trip before or after visiting the beach.

After eating we made our way to the beach. We went on a Wednesday so it was not crowded. There is a fee to park, around $4, you can also rent chairs and umbrellas. There I are facilities that include a bathroom, lockers that cost $1 to use for the day.

Tip: the water is very calm, great for little kids. My husband and I strolled the beach and headed West towards the end of the beach and actually went past to the other side. The water was warmer on the other side. It's also a bit more private. The views were amazing. Just wish I had brought my camera but did not want to get it wet. Not sure but there was a couple snorkeling so not sure if there's a reef or fish to see. They were pretty far out and perhaps they were on a sand bar as the water was only up to their knees.

The beach is lined with palm trees and very picturesque. Make sure you bring your camera.
