“Amazing, favorite restaurant by far!!”
Reviewed March 12, 2014 via mobile

We went to dinner tonight and had one of the most amazing meals of my life! Luis and his family really out did themselves. From the service ( we felt like family) to the food. We started with fresh, crisp salads. I had the mofongo with shrimp. My boyfriend ordered the creole octopus. His parents meals were the shrimp salad and creole conk. We had sides of rice and beans, and sweet plantains. And to finished with homemade limoncello. I wish Luis, Carmen and the family the best. Thank you for giving our family such a wonderful meal and making us feel like family!

“Great little spot for a delicious meal.”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

We were lucky enough to be driving by just as Luis was opening up. We asked if they were serving lunch and he said he'd ask the chef...who as it turns out was his wife Carmen. Happily, she said yes and we enjoyed a fabulous red snapper and shrimp with Creole sauce at Luis' suggestion, accompanied by rice and beans and tostones. YUM!
Exceptionally warm service and a great meal, you can't go wrong!

“Worth looking for”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

You enter through a T-shirt shop into a clean, simple dining area where you are served fresh local specialties. The owner drinks a shot of local rum with you at the end of your meal. Reasonable prices- can't go wrong!

“A hidden gem!”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

A hidden gem! Amazing food, & exceptional service. Many locals don't even know it is there! We walked there, and got a little turned around, called them, and they walked to the square to meet us to show us the way. And that was just the start of the exceptional service! Walking into the restaurant feels like walking into a friends house. Luis was very friendly- gave us free drinks, dessert, and even shared his homemade rum with us. The food was exceptional. Fish is melt in your mouth, and the creole sauce is the best we have ever tried! I couldn't even touch my side because the fish was so big and good!

Throughout dinner, Gino sang acapella to each table. He was excellent.

We will definitely be back to El Rincon Del Sabor!
