“Excellent meal”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

Food was very fresh and well prepared. Exterior looked like a beach shack but don't let appearances keep you from going to this awesome restaurant. Highly recommended.

“Well made, but not particularly special”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

This place is beyond tiny, with a small limited menu. The food was well made and tasty, but not as fabulous as others have suggested.

“memorably good meal”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

This place is way off the beaten path and looks like nothing from the outside. But don't be put off by the shack-like exterior. Someone in the kitchen really knows how to cook and the food is fabulously good. We had the roasted peppers and tomato appetizer ($7). It was so tasty we ordered a second one. For an entree I ordered the scallops with coconut rice ($20). The scallops were super fresh and arrived perfectly grilled. The rice was moist, sweet, and delicious. My husband had the vegetables with pesto pasta --good but not as great as the scallops (at least in my opinion). We finished the meal with the guava cheesecake. Again -- first class! As for the setting, it is rustic but fun. You can park right ouside the restaurant and if you go before it gets dark you get to enjoy looking out at the palm trees and the surf across the street. The server told us that they only have three burners to cook on so I am not surpised people have to wait a while for their food when the place is busy. If you are staying at one of the nearby hotels and have a car, get to this place early, watch the day end, and eat the kind of food that you would pay twice as much for in a major city like New York or Boston.

“Like wowww!”

Great place, it is all that is yes! And I signed that in the guest-book. I had the scallops, which were what? You guessed it, awesome! The music was so chill there too, great atmosphere, right on the beach. You'll love it!
