This is a REALLY sweet b&b from which to explore the NE area and rainforest.VERY helpful friendly owner and manager in beautiful secluded environs up in the hills. We had a horrible experience when the owner of El Holito refused to honor our cancellation when we realized our rental car could never make it up the washed out mile driveway, and so finding this treasure in Ceiba was like a gift. highly recommend..

This was the best place we stayed in Puerto Rico. The fresh breakfast, the doggies, the books and magazines made us feel at home. Beautiful scenery and quiet as well. We paid much higher prices at an ecolodge but this place had more of the peaceful retreat feeling we were after. Great value.

Nice property set on top of a hill with great views, we loved the cacophony of critters singing at night and the roosters in the morning. Not that far out but sure feels like you're miles away from the crowd. Nice room with semi-private patio, lovely upstairs eating area and great continental breakfast. They also sell beer and soda and a few snacks if you don't feel like venturing out. Staff was very helpful, gave us a great handwritten map that was a lifesaver. They are currently constructing a pool on the property so that will be a nice addition. Oh, and the greeting committee of three dogs is adorable.

I recently stayed here with my boyfriend on a night before we were to catch the ferry from Fajardo to Vieques in the morning. This place is great in every way. Upon arrival we were greeted by a nice looking man named Marco, who explained everything in a very concise way and let us go free to roam about the grounds. There is a bar with beer, wine, snacks, drinks, anything you might need in between meals. The price was amazing, something like $85 per night, can't beat it. The bed was super comfortable, and after the dinner at Lolita's, a great local Mexican place recommended to me by Marco, we had no problem passing right out on that lovely bed. The breakfast spread was great, fresh tropical fruit, fresh juice, cereal, and other standard continental type breakfast foods. For an unexpected 1 night stay this place served all of our purposes. It is a 10 minute drive to Fajardo ferry which makes it in a prime location. The tranquility is unmatched especially since it is so close to Rt. 53/3, but you would never know judging by the quiet and solitude. Finally, I will end on the friendliness of the staff and owners. They really go out of their way to make guests feel at home and taken care of. Thank you, keep up the good work and don't change a thing. Hope I can come back and see the pool they are installing!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are good, the room on the back side of the property has a nice hammock and patio area.

I loved the continental breakfast. I hope to come back again with more of my family someday.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Ceiba Country Inn and absolutely loved it. It is tucked away on a hill top away from the village but still close to the next bigger towns and the rainforest. The owners are very nice and you can tell that they pay attention to the detail. The rooms are nicely decorated and painted but don't have TV, which helps you to disconnect even more. The grounds are beautiful and if you want to the sweet dogs will take you on a guided tour on some trails :) First we thought the dogs might be loud at night, but the owners do keep them inside at night so that you won't here a sound. They are very entertaining and we missed them right away. The common area is great, they have so many board games, books and information you can read as well as a little bar! One of the things that we loved most was the amazing breakfast with homemade breads and all those fresh fruits picked right off the grounds. The other great thing coming up is that they are having plans to build a pool, which will make it really the most ideal place to stay. The pool might be done at the beginning of 2014 so hopefully we can go back there and enjoy the hotel some more!

Having planned a snorkeling trip out of Fajardo and a trip to Culebra the next morning, we were looking for a place to spend that evening. Thanks to tripadvisor we found a gem !1 About 15-20 minutes from the marina and 5 minutes away from Ceiba airport. Michael, one of the owners and our host was most helpful and informative. The breakfast in the morning was an assortment of homemade breads and cakes. Also available was a selection of cereals and yogurts. Sit out on the deck in the evening and you are literally be in the rain forest. A delightful combination of sounds. We are glad we found the inn and will stay there again as well as recommend it to others.
