Michael was such a wonderful host and very helpful when we needed directions and advice on the surrounding area. Very nice breakfast and Michael takes great pride in his home baked sweet breads, banana etc. We highly recommend the inn and if you have an interest in seeing the bio lagoon in Fajardo we recommed going with Bio Islands electric boat tour. http://www.bioislandpr.com/

What a wonderful little treasure the Ceiba Country Inn is; what a delight in today's world. Situated on the top of a mountain overlooking the sea, this small, clean, unpretentious B&B is true perfection.

The sound of the tree frogs at night is priceless and what you come to Puerto Rico for. Turn off your air conditioner and just listen.

Take a nap or read in the hammock and let the day go by feeling the tropical breezes.

Shakira the property's dog is that perfect good will ambassador, full of love and fun for all that visit.

Kudos to Michael the proprietor...You have done well and I will let all of Dorothy's friends know they are most welcome.

A very clean and comfortable place to stay removed from the hustle and bustle of a city. Easy to find, well run, and friendly proprietor. Simple yet refreshing breakfast of fresh fruits, homemade breads, and coffee.

Would recommend this place to anybody who wants a chance to get away and enjoy some peace in the hills of PR.

The sounds out your window are so wonderful. Yes we had our windows open. You wake up to a mountain top view that amazes. The fresh breads for breakfast are yum. So are the fruits. Best of all is the owners dog who may tap on your door.

The grounds are beautiful and the breakfast was fine. Be aware that there's little to do in the area and few places to eat. It was fairly convenient to the marina which I went Scuba diving from, and about 1/2 hour from the rainforest. The rooms don't keep sound out though, so you not only hear the frogs(which I was fine with) but you also hear the owners dog when it decides to bark late at night as well as the other guests talking right outside your room when they are waiting for breakfast to open at 7am.

i've stayed all over the island. people who dont know PR expect to stay at some sandy beach front resort inwhich there are, but thats not the what puerto rico is really like thats just commercial poo. If you really want to know what a rainforest is like then stay here. it's not that far off from el junque or the beach and during the day you can eat at local places for authentic food. if you stay in san juan you'll pay 10 dollars for everything i mean 10 dollars for one drink!...Ceiba is great very relaxing, at first i was like wtf no tv? then i opened my door and just sat outside listening to the frogs chirp and roosters it was sooo very puertorican. i just wanted to sit there with my husband and drink rum while smelling the night air. the feeling of adventure and freedom becomes very apparent and intoxicating it's like being some where with no boss, bills or worries like a well ISLAND! there no omg what should i wear to impress my friends. it is very simple and relaxing a great place to reconnect with family and loved ones. and i have two little twins they enjoyes them selves with the very friendly animals. im going back there in a few months. and i discovered it completely by accident we were lost and neaded a hotel so we picked a random one on GPS..only thing is bring your own food becz the town over can get complicated to get in and out of and getting lost on PR highways is a pain in the a#s!

Room Tip: just ask the owner was friendly

it's limited. It's hard to find but If you pass the Jungle Bar you're on the right road.
TV in the lounge only (I hope you like CNN), WiFi is secured after 2100. We had a good bed (Room #1) and things were very neat and clean but I soon found that the shower ran cold. We were there two nights and it remained cold all the while. The continental breakfast was adequate. If you're noise sensitive bring earplugs, the Coqui are many and very loud.

Room Tip: Bring with you your best spirits for there's no bar and conditions are a bit rough.
